Just picked this up for $140 used, swapped to brushless (had from a previous upgrade) thing is a beast.
I just don’t trust the VXL system but live the body and size. I can’t imagine it’ll handle as well as the Fazer but I am considering this.
You will probably need foamies for better traction at higher speeds.

Any complaints over the past couple months with this car and uprgrade? It comes at a pretty hefty price tag.
No complaints really.. runs great.. left it completely stock.. I’m in the process of moving and have some videos I need to post just haven’t edited them yet.
Thanks. I ended up going with an hpi ford mach e. I don't have it yet but I felt it might be a smarter buy being that its already brushless. I've seen many people say that after upgrading this to the vxl, it doesn't handle right? @@bigalrc
@@iLuvCats I put the VXL in it and it handles about the same as it did with the brushed motor in it. The steering does seem a little wonky on this car altogether it might be the servo.. I did put a bigger gear for the spur for more top end speed. I got this one as a gift for my birthday. It’s a fun car it looks really great.
