It's also a lot cheaper to run hardware wise though (the vtuber avatar is handled almost completely by an iPhone) DM and Snuffy (who has a model made by the same person) are using fancier setups based on VR tracking tech.
Holive probably needs an update to their program itself, it's a bit old when compared to the newest stuff i am sure they'll get around to it sooner rather than later.

As an artist who has struggled his whole life to find my signature "groove" it makes me genuinely smile to see the amount of effort, dedication and talent that comes from people like Girl DM. Makes me think there is still time to find myself. I only recently decided to look at the vtuber community to see what the scene was like and after hours of falling down the rabbit hole (just because i saw a short of you by random) of course i have to subscribe! You are incredibly talented and committed! Don't know why i felt so compelled to write this... don't stop being you! and thanks for all the past and future content!!!
