Do you live in the US? If you do then surely you realise that the S2000 is sold locally in the US therefore, it isn't an "ïmport". Even if it were an import, why do you hate them so much? All the greats from Japan are amazing machines. What's not to like?

ok, sorry. yes, i did sell it. it wasnt all that bad on gas, honestly... not sure what the conversion is to metric, but it got like 18-22 miles per gallon. also, since i dont know what road taxes are, im going to assume we dont have them here in the US

The road taxes here in Greece are the taxes that you pay (not the insurance) so that you can drive the car around and be ok with the law

@@tufluxed3293 Higher displacement (AP2 has F22C which is 2.2 litres instead of the AP1 F20C, 2 litre), more torque due to that but a slightly lower redline of like 8800 rpm. AP2s also look a bit cooler imo

I'm new to this stuff, but I love it. The S2000 has my attention right now, but would it be a good first car? For someone who is new to this stuff?
Nah it's not a good first car. It consumes a ton of fuel and its back end can get loose veeery easily. I've asked owners and they said better get a mx5 before an s2000!

+Seth Stoutes I bought it as a first car. Awesome purchase and great car.... but as first car I would definitely get something more practical. Be patient get something you can tinker and modify without braking the bank. If I would have known better I would have gotten a more humble easy driving car. This is not a good daily driver!
