@@Davidsbeenhere I am from the city of Baiji, which I visited, and one of the workers in the restaurant, and we did not watch your documentary until 8/7/2023, because the title was not written or translated into Arabic.
Wow! The hospitality of the Muslim world is just mind blowing! Imagine the restaurants in America or Europe- not even an a chance unless you pay-Ain’t nothing free. Thanks for all your content, love you David!
The Ancient Minaret ...such a historical site...so different ..with all the steps...an awesome masterpiece...loved the view from above...and the foods ...delicious and a wide variety to choose from...Also it was very kind of the restaurant owner to allow you to film with last minute notice....As usual another beautiful video. Thanks David and Tasos..and stay safe on all your travels....Blessings....Peace.
David, I hope people around the world really watch your video to get a better picture of the world and how people live and how peaceful and kind this world could be, love your videos and thank you for sharing how fresh everything really is,best wishes from Winnipeg, Canada
David: I loved this video. So far, Iraq has proved to be such a beautiful country. I had pins and needles watching you and the team climbing up the minaret. That's pretty dangerous with no railings to hold on to. Tasos looked so comfortable though. As per the food: Iraq's food is probably the healthiest I have seen. Everything is fresh. The kitchen is so clean and well organized. Even the restaurant itself is beautiful. After tasting so much food, I wondered if you would still be able to eat what they served you but you seemed to get through fine. Don't they have women working in these restaurants? Just wondering. Anyway, all of the guys were so hospitable and friendly. So waiting to see what's next. 🇹🇹🇨🇦
Thank you David for showing the world the good part of this Country. People around the world needs to see these Videos to get a better picture of how people live and how peaceful and kind they are. Big thank also of showing some places that I miss and hoping to visit again. If you're planing to visit Ohio let me know My wife and I will show you another level of cooking LOL. One more think, since day one I've been dying to tell you the Fasoolya Broth is White beans stew not Fava Beans or Lima Beans. Merry Christmas to you and all your followers.
@@Davidsbeenhere I wish i knew that you came to iraq so i could invites you to my house and try some homemade dishes and take you to watch the final world cup match in café's with people, you missed alot
would you say Iraqis are the most generous and hospitable people? out of all the vlogs i watched across youtube, theyre always giving out free stuff and refuse to take money. Would love to visit one day
They are truly generous and hospitable! I had such an incredible time and the Iraqi people are absolutely amazing. You definitely should visit one day, you will have the time of your life!
I simply adore Tasos. His persona is like one of the family like your young brother. I see the way he looks up to you you might not notice it but I do in a very quiet way I think he is just great and I wish you could keep him with you forever sending lots of love to you both and your enjoyment of food is incredible. 🇺🇸☮️🍜🥢🌶️🥄🌶️🥙☕👍
Tasos is a true gentleman and a scholar. He's a huge asset for the team and I'm lucky to have him be a part of the journey and the channel. Sending you love as well Noreen and wishing you a blessed weekend.
Oh my gosh the food looks absolutely insane David, I wouldn’t know where to start first. The shawarma looked so good. I hope you had a great Christmas with your family if you weren’t travelling.
David you should make kitchen stuff for sale, and make it your brand: David's been here on each and every product. That would be nice to do after so many years of doing of what you are doing now, so people get to know you more and more, and when it is time to retire.
You can’t walk up those stairs after having a few glasses of wine. Lol you go to some fantastic places I could see you putting on a tour for a business to some of the locations that you visit. If you do that, I want one trip free. L O L.😊
My goal for the future is to not be in a rush. We are always in a rush because of filming and delays. Next trip I slow down. If I don’t get the shot or make the second video it will be ok

I don't understand eating with hands, I'm from baghdad, we never use our hands, not at home or in restaurants... I don't know, maybe it's something common outside baghdad.. you don't need to do it for sure

The Iraq videos are my favorite also never imagined Iraq being this cool and the food looks amazing

That last chicken and rice dish, though, with the hummus and babaganush.. forget about it! Iraq has really stepped up their food game for David 🥘🔪

The translator does not describe the food in a good way
yikes! Got me squirming seeing them double dip into the dolma 6:50
Dude, seriously stop sculpting the food (rice) like Indians sculpt their idols.
That’s not eating rice, that’s called sculpting rice.
You eat big bites too fast. Just wanted to say that’s very bad for your health in the long run.
