Deliverance from the Vicious Circle of Sin, (Backsliding) Prayer.
My dear Most High Father God, I come before Your Holiness, acknowledging with all humility, my battle with the sins that entangle me, and the spiritual decline I face. I admit that, I have fallen into a repetitive pattern of iniquity, but I hold steadfast to, the belief in Your boundless power to set me free. My sweet Lord Jesus, Your divine grace is more than enough for me, and Your mighty strength is perfected in my weaknesses. As it is written in Romans 7:18; "For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh), dwelleth no good thing; for to will is present with me; but how to perform that, which is good I find not.” So, I cry out for Your mercy, O Lord. I repent of my wrongdoings, and renounce my sins. Please shatter the shackles that imprison me, and lead me into the liberty You have promised. I no longer wish to return to the transgressions, that alienate me from You.
My beloved Lord Jesus, I cling to Your promise of deliverance, standing firm, on Your Sacred Word in John 8:3, which declares; "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” I kindly ask You, Lord, to cleanse all my being, with your Holy divine redeeming blood, and to fill me with your Almighty Holy Spirit, equipping me with the power to walk, in the path of righteousness. Please Instill in me, a heart that yearns for You, above all else, and fortify my will to resist every temptation. I acknowledge that on my own, I am powerless, but I rely on Your steadfast love, and omnipotence power to guide me. Help me, O Lord, to live a life that reflects Your holiness, and to forever turn away from the sins, that once ensnared me.
Now, in the mighty name of my Lord Jesus Christ, I confront every malevolent spirit, that seeks to bind me to sin. I take authority over you, spirits of temptation, addiction, lust, fear, and doubt, and I bind you in Jesus' mighty name. You have no dominion over me, for I belong to Christ, and His blood has cleansed me. I declare your power null, and void. You are commanded to depart from me immediately, in Jesus name. I assert my authority over you, and I expel you from my mind, my heart, and my life at once. You shall not return, for I am sealed by the Almighty Holy Spirit, and no weapon forged against me shall prosper.
I proclaim that, every stronghold you have constructed in my life, is demolished by the power of Jesus Christ. Every deceitful whisper you have spoken into my soul, is now silenced by the truth of God’s Sacred Word. I stand firm upon the Holy Word of God, and declare my liberation, from your sinful unholy influence. You are bound, and I cast you out in the name of Jesus, go into the abyss, and never return.
I thank You, Almighty Lord, for hearing my petition, and for Your unwavering deliverance. I place my faith in Your omnipotent power, and Your unfailing promises, confident that, I am set free by the power of Jesus Christ, my Lord. Please guide my steps in the light of Your truth, and shield me, from ever straying into the sinful shadows again. Fill me with Your Almighty Holy Spirit, direct my ways towards your righteousness, and help me to stand resolute, in the victory You have bestowed upon me. I give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In the precious, and mighty name of Lord God and Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I pray. Amen.
