Its a corner nightmare this year where you can basically be stuck in a gameplay loop where your opponent keeps getting corners until he scores 😂
I normally play squad battles because it’s almost impossible for me to find an appointment on line. I’ve noticed that when the game can’t score it starts to look for corners. Some times it gets 5 corners in a row. That’s disgusting
That guy celebrating that horrible winning goal like that is embarrassing.
FC24 in a nutshell, giving free undeserved goals to bums and they griddy on you as if they are good at the game or “outplayed you” (not talking about that pro obv, but it’s a good example) this is why their game is dying, nobody wants to get off a 12 hour construction shift and come home to experience that

the worst thing is when you make a manual tackle, the ball doesnt stay at your feet unless you have Anticipate+, Its absolutely horrible especially after the new patch

they're meant to be "top pro players" yet they look like average regular div 5 or 6 players. the game is actually making pro players look shit. that's how bad it's got.
They look like shit bcoz they are. If they didn’t have all the broken mechanics and second man press abuse to make them look good they would be average div 5 or 6 players.
Honestly, it's hard to see something like that and not think that the game is scripted, or randomly decided by some algorithm. It wouldn't surprise me, because the game is so poorly coded, that I think this is EA's way of "replicating reality" by introducing a bit of randomness into the game. It's either that, or the mechanics are just so disgustingly poor and broken, that in some situations, no matter what you do, you will not have any control over what happens on the screen.

What has happened in the 100th minute is, the VVD AI attempted the header at the same time as the controlled player.
I see no reason why AI should be performing auto tackles or clearances

In the first part of the video this 95% of my games, under constant pressure trying to find a way out, then when I have possession my base 99 speed players are visibly slowed and cannot utilise the through ball I have done after working hard to find an opening. Then in defense, I manually defend, but my defenders go missing, if I ever tried to AI defend, my opponent would walk past them with ease, like my midfield.
I had a goal similar to that happen, Fut Birthday Alberto pressed to clear the ball and he tries an extra touch which ends up in the net. I’m done with FC this year each patch just seems to get worse
The problem with Defense after the patch is, that you have to avoid manual defending as much as possible, because it has been nerfed so much, that it’s nearly impossible
I recorded something other day which shows some form of scripting. So it's 60min mark in match. Joe cole is tired, so I replace him with renan Lodi. Lodi comes on, literally gets injured walking onto the pitch (no tackles made). I run up the pitch. Zidane shoots, it rebounds to park ji sungs feet. Who shoots and scores. Then VAR disrules it. Shortly after I loose that momentum the guy I played ran up pitch. The game lagged and he ran fast into my box and scored. He won 3-1. in my opinion definitely some form of scripting.
Think we have all experienced something similar to this. Alot of offsides seem to get given ive paused the game a few times to see and half the time clearly onside absolute madness

I played this game when the EAPlay demo was available. I thought it was fun, so I bought it. The problem is that it WAS fun.
At every opportunity, EA have made the gameplay more and more rubbish. You have a choice of playing football or playing Exploit Manager. I'd rather lose playing football. At least there are times you smile for stringing together a nice attack.
And on the winner...if this was a simulation game, I'm okay with that goal. That stuff happens IRL. But this is supposed to be a pro/competitive game. That type of RNG has no business being in a competitive game. Imagine if in COD or Fortnite your gun randomly jammed simply because the RNG decided to. I even searched to see if it was a thing. Turns out it is...because there was a bug....
I got my first 16 wins, I’m hyped. I was able to finish touchameni and 4 squads of Karachoui, + finishing the cup I made over 400k this weekend!!
How horrible does a game have to be when you have to use PLAYER LOCK TO PASS EVERY SINGLE TIME?? The way Man City won the game was absolute shit. So sad for Brighton. Awesome team and to lose it like that.. Mental.

Im not sure why i didnt buy the game this year because i normally always do, but i still watch some of the content, and this has to be the worst football game EA have produced by far. The meta is awful. Where is the skill gap. It seems overly assisted to balance bad players with good. A terrible game and an i havent even played it this year

One thing you guys have to understand is that since it’s the e premier league the best player by far as a card is halland. That’s the main reason why they keep feeding it to him. If you guy back and watch other tournaments where they allow every card it’s a lot better gameplay

Im an elite div player, 16 wins plus every week and never use a player lock. Once in a blue moon. A.I. defending works the same for everyone so i dont see it as an advantage for anyone. Love the content man keep it up.
Everyone can make it to elite with new system where you can’t get relegated. Also 16 wins is very possible if you are a experienced player. These pro are about 1200+ skill points in elite and they don’t just make 20-0, they go about 100-0, playing multiple FC, the AI may work the same but they have do manual stuff a lot
How do you think fifa can incentives higher quality plays ?. As in, especially at the pro level, it biases the game to such an extent, (something which has always been present, but seems even more excessive this edition ) in terms playing specific patterns of football, even aspect which were traditioanllly more skilled based, now seemed to has automatic elements to them, which potentially means they can become a type of meta. Case in point, long ball with aerial pluses the headed winning frequency is very automated and requires very little skill. Just my opinion, but I feel like if Fc really cared about the product, they would take a year out or only release a small update this year spend a full re designing the game, akin to how other triple aaa titles have done.
I wonder how high the rage quits are this year? I reckon it’s the highest it’s ever been.. EA surely have some way of seeing this, they should be aiming for player in game retention because people, myself included will quit even when I’m winning, something that no other game makes me do.

Can't imagine watching that esport. Like it would be so boring seeing every game be that. Honestly this new meta has been the most off putting gameplay I've ever seen or experienced an in FIFA video game. Its so boring and cheesy. As a casual player when it comes to online play, I usually only play Career and SBs bc I general play these games as my just for fun games while I tryhard on shooters and MOBAs...but this game I've been playing rivals here and there, when I see someone playing this way, I just leave. 0-0 game, idc about the DNF.

Yeah the meta gamers absolutely ruined this game. They don't have the skills or patience to practice and create their own playing styles. This new generation of gamers absolutely ruined gaming. I never quit "FIFA" matches out of boredom before until this game.

Recency bias is hilarious. FC 24 is the hardest FIFA ever, that’s why it exposed everyone. Even the so called “Pros”. Pros were always nothing but the biggest RATS who specialised the meta abuse. But FC 24 exposed them too. Every FIFA had a “META” and the “Pros” abused that every year. Stop being a hypocrite lad

Alright, here it goes. To give you some context I'm a veteran FIFA/Pro player, I'm really old. I've never played FC24, but since it's free on PS+ I thought I'd watch a video about it before giving it a go.
I've watched your entire commentary and these are my observations.
1. I find the gameplay and your commentary completely disconnected from one another.
2. You repeatedly mentioned how aerial the gameplay is yet in reality it was absolutely minimal.
3. You claimed a corner is equal to a penalty yet only 1 goal came true out of dozens of attempts.
4. RNG plays an even bigger role in real life football.
5. You claim multiple times that defence is automated yet I didn't see any non-player controlled defender stealing the ball.
6. You say multiple times how repetitive the gameplay is yet that's football, and how both players essentially wait for a mistake to happen, but that's what a competitive game should be.
7. I'm not sure what player-lock is but it seems to be a mechanic were a player "locks-in" to the character he wants to pass the ball to. It sounds useful since it's impossible as a player to 100% control where you pass.
All in all, the game seemed quite fast imo and it looked really good in motion. This seems like a very balanced game so I have no idea what is your problem.

@@JambooFC I played it. Free kicks suck, and player lock needs to be removed from the game. This is the worst type of an attempt to add a layer of complexity to FIFA, ever.

As Bonano I’d celebrate too…the game denied him 3 clear early goals…2nd half took away momentum from him and his AI attack was non existent they weren’t moving into any spaces..all he could do was defend till he couldn’t anymore..so it’s all fair according to me

"Its absolute chaos, insane" without actually explaining what the chaos is. Balls in the air, i hate to break it to you, is part of the sport and game. Tall strong players with heading abilities, will be better in the air, than short players without heading abilities. Common sense so far isnt it?
And its quite hillarious talking up the brokenness of corners and set pieces, as the player continuously failed to score from them.
Not sure if you are trolling or actually clueless, but this is suppose to be a skill based esport. Please explain the skill gap in lumping the ball into the box from crosses and corners and hoping RNG locks your player on for the header
@@JambooFC You literally called corners nothing short of penalties, as you analysed a video of players failing over and over to score on corners and crosses. Why did they fail? Is RNG all to it? Are corners and crosses OP? Perhaps....
Im curious. How do you want the game to be like? Currently its not enough to let the AI deal with Dijk on corners. Opposed to what? More AI defending?
