the card itself will not go it will get bound, however because its effect was put on the other order part of the alchemagic, that order will go to soul. alchemagic puts the cost and effect of the order bound on to the order played from hand
John Wick mode activating on Shadowcloak dying killed me lol. Love the gameplay and deck techs for both of these cuz me and a buddy of mine are really looking forward to picking up these decks for our playgroup 🙂
I wasn't sold on lianorn masques but it's starting to grow on me the more I watch I was afraid the rear guards would never get big enough to swing on their own without luck but all the support has been so good, im excited
Once you get rid of bad cards like Inlet Pulse and run actual good cards like Tideline you very quickly see the difference in how Lianorn plays when built properly.
Bummer that the Stoi Cycle for Festival 2023 was revealed after this was recorded, because that card is bonkers good for Lianorn Masques. Also don't run more than 1 base Lianorn. Too bricky just to get more revives.
I don't like Lianorn Masque bc you have to basically full board to get full power and you need some good beat stick in front row like Tideline to feel the pressure but Lianorn Masque herself doesn't have skills to dig through the deck like the previous form. While I think the deck has decently high ceiling, I REALLY don't want to play this deck against any decks that can mess with my board.
@@karellen4855 The ones that gain +10k Pow/Shield if opponent hit triggers from Festival 2023. The Stoi one also gains extra power and gives you more soul. Lianorn Masques needs big beatsticks that can hit numbers unboosted, now you get a big one that being G3 hits better magic numbers and hard counters defensive triggers.
@@yohanesgracial9529 Inlet was good in Magnolia Elder, it is outright bad in just about everything else besides Flagburg. And honestly even Magnolia Elder has better things to run these days.

Shouldn't Alex have had another dragon tree marker at around 41:58? He played the grade 2 wretch and used its effect before the 'double mask play'... Then played the grade 1 wretch. So there should have been an extra 5k on the board. Which, considering how tight the guard was at the end.. I think that would have mattered.

I feel like Lia Masques may be lacking a bit without early game plays as most decks rn tend to have a very aggressive g2 turn
The plan was to use the G2 dragontree for early game and getting the mask…yeah it never showed up lol
