- "Houston, we've had a problem here" - those were the actual words uttered by Apollo 13 astronaut Jack Swigert on April 13, 1970. They were a prelude to one of the most thrilling rescue operations in human history.

I remember the whole county praying for them to come home safe. ❤
What an awesome clip. This event has always fascinated me so much.
Uh I want to see the rest of this!!!! 😣
I gotta get the DVD of this 1👌
Anyone know the song that plays in the credits of this episode
Why did they need power in the CM? If the LM already made deorbit burn all they had to do is orient retrograde and leave the LM behind. Right?
It may not be a coincidence that this happened on Apollo ‘13’
Perhaps some of the engineers were aware of the superstition regarding the number 13 which made them nervous and as such more prone to error.

tension same
Growing up in the same town in which Purdue University (engineering school with the most astronauts) is in, it was basically a forgone conclusion to be a big follower of anything space related. But these days as I watch informative vids such as this, I cannot help but wonder how in hades so many people are convinced the earth is flat? I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop with a “ha ha...we fooled you.`” `But nope! How rude does a person have to be to make a blanket statement about space travel world wide? They’re desecrating the names of all of those lost during their countries attempt to expand & raise our understanding of the universe. I feel as if they exclaim “fake” for anything & everything in which they do not understand or cannot comprehend. We’re actually living in the movie Idiocracy.
You are supposed to completely ignore them
Are you suggesting they never landed on the moom

Are they alive
Two of them are. All three made it back to earth alive, but one has died from cancer since.
Jack Swigert is the best if it was not for him being there Jim -o/Fred -o and Kim would word of not came home. Swigert told them when to fire the burn that got them home 5hrs early.
Cuando me quiero reír un poco vengo a ver éste tipo de videos 🤣🤣

Copied from wikipedia "the crew returned safely to Earth on April 17, 1970, six days after launch."
Spoiler alert, Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, and Bill Paxton all survive.
Yasser Abdal yeah but reading that is a lot less entertaining then the video lol
Watch the movie Apollo 13, it’s on Netflix.
