"I know you guys are here for snakes" Honestly, at this point Emily and Ed could talk to me about a log and I'd be excited for it.
We ain't here for the snakes. We're here for the commentary!
Same!
Literally!! Also try to find a random pickle Rick 😅
I- I am here for the snakes but also Emily and Ed 🐍

Ed watering the lizards like "Ah yes, the false chameleons are growing in nicely this season", I love it
I have been dying to see how the false chameleons are doing. Honestly they get too little screen time. I love them.
XD
I love some cooked false chameleons, they taste like potatoes

This whole video is just too cute. Watering the false chameleons, the lesbian parrot, the bloopers, Timmy the isopod. Love it. For the record, I think it would be really cool to hear more about the snails. I like snails...

Also thanks for the likes
You're not wrong 😂
Snake Discovery, the little ones in this vid remind me of the ring neck snake I found on the side walk, I picked him up and put him in the grass. It was the very first snake I’ve ever handled
Can you guys make a vid on if you need permits to breed reptiles

You know your life revolves around animals when you can walk out into the garage and find the perfect enclosure then decorate it with objects you found around the house. This channel is awesome! 😂
We’re definitely not just here for the snakes, totally okay with watching Isopods or lizards.
I’d love to leave on snake care and monitoring isopodes lol
I would be down for snail care too
Or an alligator, praying mantis, turtles, frogs, building construction, mail openings... I pass on the tarantula, but I'm sure some are also here for that.
And Cheyenne. And anything living in the house.

Ed:”your snail is escaping”
Me:”SNAILS??”
Snails are deceptively fast.
@@jartecus Yes, i have snails myself and they are scary fast.
@@julialungan4722 wow! Is he your pet?

Movies and TV have ruined the reputation for our snail friends, they can get faster than you’d think
@@Aphrohasrizz Well i have aquatic snails in my aquarium but im planing to adopt some ground snails, i hope Emily will give instructions on their care so I can do the best job with my garden snails.
today my daughter and i rescued a smooth earth snake from the pool drain! it was really little (like the dekay's!) and had slightly iridescent brownish-gray scales + a white belly. It was very friendly--it let both of us hold it without trying to get away. it didn't seem hurt, but it was trying to shed, so we put it by some small rocks and it immediately started to rub against everything to get the shed off. then it slithered away. :)
this is the first time we have found a snake since watching your videos and it was my first time feeling confident handling a snake found in the wild. it was such a cool moment to experience with my daughter and I thank you for giving me the knowledge to handle the situation!
Now I’ve heard of “skeletons in the closet” but never “Macaws in the closet” xD
Macaw I meant macaw 🥲
“Oops, didn’t mean to spray you in the eyeball”

And I would totally watch a snail care guide even though I have zero intention to own snails. I just like knowing things.

I have three pet garden snails also they pretty easy to take care of

Love these little guys! Would also love to hear about your snail enclosure- I kept amber snails in high school and they were quite funny.
I like to imagine that when ed or Emily walk into the room. The reptile or snake in general looks at them and goes “The food bringer has appeared-“

I laughed when you opened the closet and Cheyenne was in there. It was funny haha 😄
Decays brown snakes are actually native to my state, and I saw one of them this past September at my job running after-school care at a preschool! We were walking over to the field for outdoor play and while we were crossing the road a Decay's tried to cross the road with us! I made sure the kids gave him some space so he wouldn't get stepped on, and once we were across the road I took plenty of pictures of the little guy - we talked about snakes with the kids at snack, and when I looked up local species to see what kind of snake we saw I couldn't believe it was the same as these little guys!
When u accidentally lose a bird and find it in the closet later
Kathryn and Kandi lol
well, to be fair, our dog has trapped himself in my brother's room before lol the door closes over if it gets bumped when it's open. noticed that the house was pretty peaceful until I heard him doing his peeping whine from someplace XD
I lost my lovebird once and he was inside a tp roll
My fiance has found our dog in the closet after coming back home from work and was like where's the dog
Our cat had been stuck in the pantry for a full day once. He didn't make any noise at all, I only found him after checking the whole house. He immediately ran to the litter box when I let him out, poor little guy
Guys let’s just appreciate all the tiny snails that risked their lives for some dekay’s brown snakes

Emily I just wanna say you've single handedly turned me from having a phobia of snakes, to genuinely adoring them.

I am 23 years old and I now felt comfortable enough getting a snake because of your videos. I have 11 reptiles now and am a proud pet parent of an anery striped corn snake. Named zazzles... because she's zazzy (hope someone understands that reference) and she is so little and has the cutest bleps!

They are one of my favorites. They are so sweet, even wild ones. ❤

My brain whenever i see a dekay's brown snake:
BABY! BABY MAN! LITTLE BABY LITTLE BABY MAN
I love how u treat snakes like they are cuddly it really changed my fear of all thing creepy crawly
I used to spend all day catching the tiny common brown snakes in my backyard. These look exactly like those and those didn't grow longer than 23". Rarely I'll lift a rock and find a baby, but I haven't been looking for them. They stay this cute, stay under two feet long, and most of the wild ones I was catching turned remarkably tame once they calmed down. There's always a few that won't want to calm down, but usually they turned very sweet quickly. If you're willing to keep a snake this small they're amazing and all of my experience comes from freshly caught wild snakes, so as a species they generally have an amazing temperament.
