Interesting comparison Tim. Not huge differences and I like both lights but if I had to choose I’d go with Thrunite cause you’re getting just a little more at a much better price. Thanks Brother! 🐐

I would choose olight, it just has that eye candy look to it.. yes you pay more and maybe little less lumens.. Ok it both were the same price I'd still pick olight...

I have a baton and baton 2. Love the styling to this day. Baton 3 is the best by far in all aspects.... pound for pound vs the t1s. Thanks for sharing

Both nice lights, but I would have to go with the THRUNITE, I really enjoy and trust the ones that I have. Plus if I save $20, I can get a second light. Thanks for the video, be well my friend.

I collect lights, guns, and knives. Olight is the choice for collecting, Streamlight, NiteCore, ThruNite, and SureFire are for serious users.

Hmm 🤔 this is a tough one. Both offer great light beams, the difference between the hotspot makes the olight smoother but both are fantastic options. If i had to choose? Probably thrunite because it is cheaper and brighter. Great review as always Brother 🤠🌲🍃

Fenix E18R v2 is best. Thrunite have small hotspot, OLIGHT is wide-better optics

When olight is in moonlight mode and you switch it off and then on it will go back on in moonlight but the thrunite if you switch off in moonlight when you switch on it will always come on in low mode I prefer the olight but the new olight baton 4 moonlight mode is half the brightness as the baton 3 moonlight witch is annoying but still a great light with the charger

Personally I never use the lower settings, high or turbo all the time. I like both brands/lights a lot, they’re great lights.

What is the material of the black tire pattern of the olight roadster? Plastic or aluminum?
    Thanks!

I think olight has a better charging option. Yes it's meant for one application but whether you use USB-c or USB-a the potential of ruining the female end is far more probable just like plugging your phone in too much.

What you say is not wrong but other brands like Skilhunt are able to have magnetic charging without the proprietary battery like Olight.
Olight is trying too hard to be like Apple who uses proprietary solutions to reap as much profit as possible.

their is nothing great about male to female plugs; magnetic charging is superior to any male or female plug. flashlight batteries cant fast charge to begin making fast charging irrelevant.

    The T1SV2 is a clunker!
By comparison to the Baton 4 or by itself this Thrunite is way heavier than you might expect. The clip is not good and cannot compare to the Baton 4’s most excellent clip.
As far as runtimes and output I’d give it to the T1SV2 for sure.
Frustratingly heavy to carry or clip on a hat..if you can even squeeze it on the brim.
Hoping for a next gen of the T1SV2 (V3) with a much improved clip, metal side switch and considerably less weight.
Hopefully Olight will go with alternative battery options next gen or Baton 5.

I like both brands, they’re both my favorite… but I’d take a Thrunite over a Olight if forced to choose between the two. I’ve never had an issue with a Thrunite pocket clip, they’ve been attached to my hats many times.

      @@GearReviewDepot I get that.
For me it’s mostly just too heavy and I wasn’t expecting that.
If Thrunite were to make this with a charging port concealed in the sleeve like it’s already doing with other models that would be great.
Great light to throw in a bag or a center console but for me, it’s too heavy to carry around.
I want to want it if you know what I mean.
I have a feeling the next generation or two will make it very desirable .

@onedirection3510 it says the thrunite is lighter here.
