@kiliandrilltzsch8272 yeah im sure the sirens were scary to the civilians evacuating from the frontlines.... also what contributions were those comparable to the sinking of Japanese carriers?
@kiliandrilltzsch8272 lmao did you even understand the post? The dauntless sank japanese carriers with was a HUUUUUUGE contribution to the allied war effort... im still waiting on how the stuka did more?
@@CyBerCat6410 im pretty sure IF the germans ever were to fight in either the pacific or against carriers then the Stuka would also have sunken some. also the stuka contributed to winning poland and france and all the other minor countries while the US needed two warcrimes to end their war
Both planes are very different, though. Different engines, armaments, airframes and even purposes. The Germans weren't the only ones making dive bombers, you know.
Your comment is nonsense. These planes, while both dive bombers, were quite different. The Stula had an inline water-cooled power plant, while the Douglas had an air-cooled radial. The Stuka had a gull wing design, the Douglas a standard air foil. The Stuka had a fixed undercarriage, the Douglas had retractable landing gear. The Stuka was an older aircraft design, and was essentially outmatched by 1942, while the Douglas was in use throughout the war. Most importantly, the Stuka could only launch from land, while the Douglas was specifically designed as a naval aircraft.
Now if only Gaijin would give us some new fucking Camouflages for the Dauntless instead of the Pre War paint Scheme
No, ask for the SBD-5
fr, the in-game paint scheme sucks, i currently use a user skin, but still. It's just not right
It had good rescilience against enemy fighters like ace pilot Stanley Vetressa downed 3 Zeros in his Dauntless
Great video
Can you male a video about the TBD-1 Devastator
Thanks! I'll add it to the list of vids to make
Guess what

Thanks😊
Don't forget about its nickname, SBD -> Slow but Deadly
Murica baby! 🇺🇸🦅
US Navy Dive-Bomber pilot more preferred SBD over the SB2C, the true Workhorse here
fr
The American Stuka
If you were in realistic that would probably be better
Richard Halsey Best flew one of those
SPD ehh? (surprised that made it to the final cut).
JU 87 STUKA:🤨
Hans-Ulrich Rudel was allowed to fly the SBD and wished they had it in lieu of said Stuka.
👍👍👍
Dive bomber that made an actual contribution! not use cringey sirens to... let the enemy know you are coming?
seems like someone is ignoring psycological warfare again. also the STUKA also made significant contributions?!!?

@@CyBerCat6410 sinking allied ships? do you even know anything about ww2 or are you just an intern at the american propaganda machine?

A bad american copy of the StuKa

Stuka was also a piece of shit that was retired after 41
