The sunscreen looks amazing. The Australian sun is harsh here, especially on light sensitive skin. Your skin is free of freckles which means the sunscreen is an excellent cover. Usually Asian skin does suffer under our strong skin
I love it too, it absorbs almost immediately into my skin and it doesn't feel oily or greasy like many sunscreen that i'd tried. My only concern is that it contains alcohol so i'm hoping that it won't affect my skin that much since biore is the only sunscreen that i'm willing to use daily
I love watching your beauty videos because you explain the ingredients and demonstrate how to use each product properly, not to mention where to get them and how much each one costs. Very informative and helpful. Many many thanks, Kim! 👍👍 For future videos, perhaps you could review beauty tools, such as your favorite makeup brushes and/or hair styling tools. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again! ❤❤❤
I've always had dried lips. I would also peel my lips and they would bleed. I found that the best remedy was drinking enough water or being hydrated. Sometimes its difficult to continually drink water during the day at work, I ensure that I drink enough water in the morning before and after work. I find that certain lips products cause my lips to peel (even brand names), you have to chose your products wisely especially if you have sensitive skin.
No doubt it's great, I've heard good things about it too! But I meant the huge bits that come off when you rub the gel. As the previous comment said, if that really were your skin, it'd be quite worrying.
There's a large misconception about these kind of exfoliating gels going around the internet especially youtube..😅 These type of exfoliators are called gommage or peeling gels. How they work is that the cellulose in the gel balls up when in contact with your skin oils, taking away dead skin cells along with it. The balling up of the gel is sort of a physical mechanism to help aid in the removal of your dead skin cells. So yes, not all of the clumps are dead skin. It would be scary if so.
kim!! do you drink coffee? i have the SAME exact issue! (and so i'm definitely buying that balm) but i found out recently coffee hitting my lips are a huuuuge part of the issue why it's SO much worse on some days. i use a straw now and aquaphor at night and have had SIGNIFICANTLY less problems. also, sorry for being cheap but i totally love to rub the mask ALL over my body afterward to get all the good stuff out :D
I do! Oh wow that might be it, I have a coffee every morning so maybe that's what is causing it. Been trying to fix it for months but no matter how much lip care I do nothing helps! I might try drinking from a straw next time!
That Biore sunscreen is my holy grail. I always say I'm going to try other brands but I always end up buying and using Biore only. I also love Hada Labo's hyaluronic lotion.
This video was very informative even though I’m Japanese!😆 Thank you so much! If you’re fine with alcohol, I recommend you try a toner of Kikumasamune, which is made from ingredients of Nihon-shu, Japanese sake. It has plenty of moisturizing factor which comes from Nihon-shu, and is quite reasonable - around 7dollars for 500ml! But since it also smells kind of alcoholic and might be stimulating for sensitive skin, some people might not like it, I love it though. If you don’t care please try it!
I just moved to Japan and I am obsessed with your videos, they are so informative and I love how you explain and demonstrate each product, every time I watch your videos I end up going to Don Quijote and buying everything 😂💕
I'm flying to japan in october. 😻🇯🇵 I really hope to find some of the products you mentioned, so I can try them out. 💖 I absolutely love your videos. they're always so informative. I'm currently watching a lot of your travel vlogs, so I know my way around Tokyo when I get there. 😺
Mine are hadalabo shirojyun premium toner, nature conc medicated clear lotion, my beauty diary mask (Japanese version), Muji oil cleansing, senka facial foam (the one already making foam) and dhc eyelashes serum. And there are lots of kinds of body skincare products to try in Japan. They have moose type, sparkling water type, etc. It’s so interesting to try them 😂
kimdao the most popular one, I think, is mild oil cleansing (there are 2 types of oil cleansing there). I’ve also tried cleansing foam. It’s quite gentle and able to make lots of bubbles with just the size of pea of product. My mom also loves it. The muji toners are popular too, but to me, they make no effects on my skin. Anyway, try themmmm ❤️
I really love your “ best Japan item “ videos. And learn so much from them. Thank you for your hard work and trying all the products. When I watch these kinds of video my mind always goes back to “ best 100 Japanese make up “ that you made and it still amazes me.
aww thank you so much for your comment! The videos take a really long time to make so I'm really glad you can appreciate it ^^ I'll need a bit of time to try out the other products since I like to test them out first before filming them so hopefully in the next few weeks I'll get another one of these videos up!
Hello. I have some questions about: -Cure Natural Aqua Gel -Mentholatum Hada Labo Goku-Jyun Hyaluronic Acid Lotion -Sana Nameraka honpo All-In-One Moisture Jelly Gel (I'm planning on buying these 3 products :) ) 1. Is it recommended to apply one of these products on an acne-prone skin? 2. same question as #1 but this time with oily skin. 3. All of the products that I've mentioned above, is it alright to use them before going to sleep(like a night routine skin care)? or is it during daytime only? Please and Thank you
mentholatum hada labo light lotion is a good for people with dry skin! i used to have dry patchy skin and i used various items(facial soap, moisturizing milk) from this brand for the past year. my face has never been better!
haha I'll try work on it! The makeup one took a while to film but the skincare one might take longer (I like to space out when I use my products so I don't break out) but it might be something I could do!
I've been wanting to try the Cure exfoliation for so long but don't know where to find it. Can you use it everyday? I don't like using sugar scrubs they are too abrasive. . The collagen jelly sheet mask is wonderful! I use the Korean skincare now & would like to try Japan products. Thanks♥♥
Awesome video! Being a fellow Australian, I understand your hate of oily greasy sunscreens, however Olay have released a non-oily light moisturiser with SPF 30+ in it which is a fantastic cheap alternative if you can't get to Japan or you run out of another product. It's called "Olay Complete Defence Daily UV Moisturising Lotion" and you can pick it up from supermarkets and priceline. It too works great as a primer too! Well worth checking out!
Came across your video while in Japan, and I went and bought all your commendations. Now can’t wait to go home and try them all :) love your videos so informative! Very helpful when one can’t read Japanese. I took screen grabs of your video and the lady at the shop helped me found all of them! Have to say shopping in Japan is best of all things to do ;)
I think we have the same lamp. Best lamp ever. I was so surprised when I saw because I’ve never seen anyone else have this unique lamp. Haha. Loved the video btw thank you!
Hi thank you for sharing. Can I know if the Sana moisturiser is suitable for all skin types and is it oil free? I m afraid that it would be oily after applyint
I love these types of videos would totally love more and more recommendations. Was wondering if you could recommend cheaper products as well that are actually good? And also a make-up version?
I love the DHC lip balm. ❤️ I got mine in Ginza, I should have bought some more. We are planning to go back to Japan again maybe next year. Thanks to your video, bookmarking this. 😊
Did it really helps you on dry chapped lips? I wanna try to buy one, since Laneige doesn’t cure my severe chapped lips:( actually regretted buying those in few nights. I don’t want that happens on DHC too so your information would help me a lot :)
Do you know if the DHC lip balm is good to help heal minor scarring on lips? I live in a dry climate and had a bad habit of picking at the dry skin (gross, I know!!) Thanks =)
Hello Kim! This is so useful! I'm moving to Japan soon and this will help a lot 😊. I wanted to ask you if you know some product to apply on skin after shaving? I have very sensitive skin and my skin get irritated after shaving legs or arms. :(
Hi. Im will be visiting japan next month. I came across your video and found it very useful. Can you please guide about which brand of color contacts should i buy that are good and not very expensive? Thanks
The Cure product works good on my face, but I can only use it once a week using two pumps of product, due to sensitive skin. And, I don't want to lose too many nutrients from my face as well. I just use this to get rid of those left over dead skin cells so that my pores won't clog.
Hi pretty! I have a really serious question. Will the sana all in one jelly gel be suitable for oily skin? As for me, i have oily skin and i dont like a sticky and oily moisturiser. In your vid, it has been mentioned that it is not sticky. But there are also reviews saying that the gel is slimey. Which one is true? Can you pls help me to answer this? Thank you in advance :)
Yash, i have tried biore uv watery essence , as you mentioned that's product just amazing. It's absorbed so easily to my skin like water also i tried sana all in one gel. This product is also amazing. :") it make my skin super hydrating and supple 😍. But unfortunately i didn't try that dhc lipbalm :( . I wish i can go to japan again and try all products that u mentioned 😆😆
When someone raves about a product that has been sitting in your medicine cabinet. The biore aqua sunscreen is too drying for me so I stopped using it. Maybe I'll give it another chance and use it earlier in my skincare routine rather than later
Thanks for sharing Kim😍❤️ The Cure cleanser is really nice! The "dead skin cells" you mention, isn't just dead skincells but also the product you applied that lumps up! So it isn't as gross as you' think it looks! Which feels good to know, you overall have really nice skin👏
thank you soo much, im moving to japan in 2weeks and i've been a little worried what skincare are the best for sensitive skin since i've been using a lot of mild korean skincare products. thank you for indicating the ones good for dry sensitive skin❤️
Every time I use Sana All-in-one Jell, I get breakouts so I'm too scared to use it now. Maybe my skin just doesn't agree with it. I personally find using Cold Cream really great for hydrating my skin although it's inconvenient at times. Anyone have a brand that they'd recommend?
Hi! I follow you from Italy and here the habit of skincare isn’t very popular, I’m trying to follow Korean skincare thanks to you: your videos are great, rich of specific information and you mention something that not so much Americans/Italian UA-camrs mention (for example: mask and scrub should be done not more than once a week ect)! So, I have a question for you: I have a sensitive prone acne skin, I fear a lot comedogenic ingredients, and I find out DHC cleansing oil: the first ingredient is olive oil, well known to be comedogenic. Do I have to worry about or the formula is good anyway? I’ve seen your video of “top 10 Japan skincare products” in which you mention it but I want to be sure about it!
Hi from the States! Loved your video. New subbie. Enjoyed the reviews. I have a Water essence sunscreen from Shishedo and Nivea and they’re are wonderful. You’re right, feels like nothing on the skin. Maybe Il’ll try the Biore next time. Just a concern, you have to use much more sunscreen then you put on in the video. You need , I believe a teaspoon or more. So just take it from a grandma! You’re adorable. Gonna catch up on your videos! Bye! ❤️💄🐈🌸
I get those hyperpigmentation spots too from hormonal breakouts on the sides of my chin, below my lips. I pick so much. But I'm curious about how you cover them! It's so hard for me to cover them with the lightweight makeup I use.
i just discovered your channel and I'm amazed!! you're so pretty and fun and your videos are very informative 😍😍😍 i also adore your vlogs!! i might be going to Japan next year but I'm preparing from now cause I'm so excited 😂😂😂 LOVE YOU😍💓
Love watching your recommendations.😍 I hope you can feature your top product recommendations from Muji. I’d really wish to hear your thoughts and review on their sensitive skincare line, other beauty products and tools.
SORRY I HAVE BEEN MIA ON YOUR VIDEOS!! A lot has been going on, so it's catch up time! XD All my skincare is either Korean or Japanese, and I use a lot of Tatcha products, specifically. My lips are in the same boat as yours, so I'll definitely look into that lip balm, and I always look for new masks. AND THAT SERUM. I need that! As a video suggestion, because I have so much problems with my lips, maybe do a top 10 products for lips? Like the lip masks and balms you'd use?
Hey Kim! Youre so awesome and I love all of your videos! I am heading to Japan in August, it will be my 2nd time and I am so excited! I am really interested to see your 10 step skincare routine if you could please do a video that shows us this, that would be awesome 💕
I love exactly in the opposite side of the world so having 3 out of 10 makes me feel proud of myself! Hope I have the chance to test the rest of your recommendations someday! Thanks for the video!
Hi kimdao, great video. Just subscribed seeing how good your skin is. i live in uk and i cant get the products you posted in the description. Can you find a place that delivers to the uk? please.
Hi! Thank you for making this video. Can you also film a video where you talk about the Japanese skin care products from your first video that you kept using?
Beware ance prone people, the sana all in one jelly moisturizer might break you out. It causes me to break out with white heads. Rip. I wonder if I can still use it 🤔
Hi Kim, could you teach us how to read japanese cosmetics expiry dates? Most brands don't print a manufacture or expiry date. How do you decipher from the batch code??
The sunscreen looks amazing. The Australian sun is harsh here, especially on light sensitive skin. Your skin is free of freckles which means the sunscreen is an excellent cover. Usually Asian skin does suffer under our strong skin
Can you please do a video of the 10-step Korean skincare routine but using all Japanese products? Thank you!
That's a great idea! I'll add that on my list of videos to make!
That's such a great idea !
crazy. jazzy m
Make video acne care and black head care product pls!
crazy. jazzy Korea sucks!
The biore sunscreen is my absolute favorite! When people I know visit Japan, it's the souvenir I always ask for! :D
I’m so surprised I didn’t try it earlier, it’s the best!
can you put that on your body too?
I love it too, it absorbs almost immediately into my skin and it doesn't feel oily or greasy like many sunscreen that i'd tried. My only concern is that it contains alcohol so i'm hoping that it won't affect my skin that much since biore is the only sunscreen that i'm willing to use daily
Amill there are good types of alcohol and bad types of alcohol in skincare
Don’t worry too much
I love watching your beauty videos because you explain the ingredients and demonstrate how to use each product properly, not to mention where to get them and how much each one costs. Very informative and helpful. Many many thanks, Kim! 👍👍

2:08 just wanted to point out that that is not all dead skin, that would be a too large amount meaning you are damaging your skin barrier
I honestly think it's just the gel pilling and that they want you to think it's your skin
I have it, it makes a lot of difference so... not just the gel pilling. It is wonderful, really.
No doubt it's great, I've heard good things about it too! But I meant the huge bits that come off when you rub the gel. As the previous comment said, if that really were your skin, it'd be quite worrying.

Hello. I have some questions about:
-Cure Natural Aqua Gel
-Mentholatum Hada Labo Goku-Jyun Hyaluronic Acid Lotion
-Sana Nameraka honpo All-In-One Moisture Jelly Gel
(I'm planning on buying these 3 products :) )
1. Is it recommended to apply one of these products on an acne-prone skin?
2. same question as #1 but this time with oily skin.
3. All of the products that I've mentioned above, is it alright to use them before going to sleep(like a night routine skin care)?

mentholatum hada labo light lotion is a good for people with dry skin! i used to have dry patchy skin and i used various items(facial soap, moisturizing milk) from this brand for the past year. my face has never been better!
I would love a third skincare video!! If possible, can you include more acne products!
oh yes! I actually bought a whole lot of acne products so I'll test them all out first! Found quite a lot of good things so far!!
Can you make a top 100 (or top 50) japanese skincare video?
haha I'll try work on it! The makeup one took a while to film but the skincare one might take longer (I like to space out when I use my products so I don't break out) but it might be something I could do!
kimdao thank you for your consideration 😄
Hada Labo sunscreen is also a good Japanese sunscreen! It's good for sensitive and acne-prone skin
I love hada labo day n night creme
I've been wanting to try the Cure exfoliation for so long but don't know where to find it. Can you use it everyday? I don't like using sugar scrubs they are too abrasive. . The collagen jelly sheet mask is wonderful! I use the Korean skincare now & would like to try Japan products. Thanks♥♥
I have shared my best 5 japanese skincare products and links where to buy on my channel. I hope it helps 🙂
Your hair looks extra radiant in this video. Can you do a video dedicated to hair care?
Awesome video! Being a fellow Australian, I understand your hate of oily greasy sunscreens, however Olay have released a non-oily light moisturiser with SPF 30+ in it which is a fantastic cheap alternative if you can't get to Japan or you run out of another product. It's called "Olay Complete Defence Daily UV Moisturising Lotion" and you can pick it up from supermarkets and priceline. It too works great as a primer too! Well worth checking out!
Oh that's interesting! I gave up on buying products in Australia but I'll definitely check that one out!
Came across your video while in Japan, and I went and bought all your commendations. Now can’t wait to go home and try them all :) love your videos so informative! I'm going to Japan this month and your video just came at perfect timing! I definitely will try to check those products out, thanksss!!! ♡
Kóse face mask, hada labo product range, biore and sunplay uv protection, senka white whip facial wash.
Please do an updated one for 2019 😊
Awww..Cute Video Kim!😊❤Thank you for all the informative videos!
Oh.....if we could only remove our pores hehehe :) LOVE YOU! Japanese and Korean skincare products are one of the BEST! xo
Hi thank you for sharing. Can I know if the Sana moisturiser is suitable for all skin types and is it oil free? I m afraid that it would be oily after applyint
Do a top 10 ranking one for each category! Like top 10 cleanser, top 10 toner and top 10 moisturiser etc. Thanks! :)
I would love you see you do another top ten skin care but for specific skin care needs like one for dry skin, for acne.
I'll be testing out lots of new products so hopefully I can get one up soon!
I love these types of videos would totally love more and more recommendations. Was wondering if you could recommend cheaper products as well that are actually good? And also a make-up version?
Hey dear, I have recommended cheaper Japanese skincare faves recently. Please checkout my video 🙂
I loooooove Senka's Perfect Whip! It is such a great face wash. Thanks for the great videos!
It is! I recommended that one in my previous skincare video, really affordable too!
DHC lip cream is truly so good. I love it!
Hi, when do you prefer using rohto melano vit c? Day or night?
Second 😭😍 At least I still managed to be early 😊 Love your videos Kim and you look so pretty! 💖
Thank you so much for watching early! ❤️❤️
Absolutely love it when you do videos like this! ❤️
❤️❤️
Is it better/cheaper to buy skincare products at drugstores or stores like Don Quijote?
Please can you do top ten hair care products including conditioners & hair masks to make hair silky smooth & ones with Keratin in.
Love Japanese beauty product especially Kosé cosmetic lotion
I want to try out all of the products! This video really inspired me to do my skincare routine tonight!
hehe I'm glad!! 💖💖
Hi. Im will be visiting japan next month. I came across your video and found it very useful. Can you please guide about which brand of color contacts should i buy that are good and not very expensive? Thanks
You have a Japanese skin care brand recommendation for sensitive skin ?
The Cure product works good on my face, but I can only use it once a week using two pumps of product, due to sensitive skin. And, I don't want to lose too many nutrients from my face as well. I just use this to get rid of those left over dead skin cells so that my pores won't clog.
Ah yeap I only use it at most 2-3 times a week, it’s a great product though!
perhaps top body care products.love your vids
Good video. Im in Australia too. We have really good products but there are some really good Japanese products that i love
And what is your skin type? Dry?
I’m going to Japan for holiday, I’ll definitely pick up a few of these, thank you Kim ❤️
what you may recommend to dry face and with acne (white&black heads)? Thank you.
Im so in love with your videos it helped me a lot during my travel. Is it ok if I use your video for one of my products
You look particularly stunning today! Great video editing as well!
Thank you so much❤️❤️
just bought the biore uv aqua sunscreen and I love it!!!
It would be cool to see a video about how you film and edit your videos sometimes. Maybe what gear you use, how you decide what to film, etc...
I might make one of those videos on my vlog channel!
They have lots of great stuff for sensitive skin! 💖💖 Hope you have a great time in Japan!
I agree with the makeup primer use for that sunscreen. I love it.
I can attest to this these products are really good,I actually use the Hadalabao one and it works wonders
Im kind of curious about mentholatum products? Are the products good and effective? Especially for sensituve skins?
I really want to try all of them! Thank you for this video : )
Where do you find the hyper-pigmentation product, I've been looking around Tokyo and I can't find it
Every time I use Sana All-in-one Jell, I get breakouts so I'm too scared to use it now.
Maybe my skin just doesn't agree with it.
I personally find using Cold Cream really great for hydrating my skin although it's inconvenient at times. Anyone have a brand that they'd recommend?
Perhaps u have sensitive skin? U should make sure the stuff u use is meant for sensitive skin.
Is number 10 great for removing makeup or for general use without makeup nice too?
What would you recommend for Japanese great skincare for oily and acne skin? 😍
Yes there are some good japanese products for oily acne prone skin I have shared my best 5 japanese skincare products on my channel 🙂
Bye! ❤️💄🐈🌸
Your skin looks amazing!!
aww thank you so much 💖💖

I get those hyperpigmentation spots too from hormonal breakouts on the sides of my chin, below my lips. I pick so much. But I'm curious about how you cover them! It's so hard for me to cover them with the lightweight makeup I use.
Really great video! thank you so much.:) can you also do makeup tutorial using Japanese products?
this would be cool to see!

I hope you do a review on high end Japanese skin care products.
Love watching your recommendations.😍
I hope you can feature your top product recommendations from Muji. I’d really wish to hear your thoughts and review on their sensitive skincare line, other beauty products and tools.
I’ve never used any skincare from muji before so I’d love to try them out!
Can you do a video is retainers for teeth? Don’t know which to go for!
would you say you prefer the gel makeup removers over oil cleansers like dhc?
SORRY I HAVE BEEN MIA ON YOUR VIDEOS!! A lot has been going on, so it's catch up time! XD
All my skincare is either Korean or Japanese, and I use a lot of Tatcha products, specifically.

Hey Ryoko007, I have shared my best 5 japanese skincare products and links where to buy on my channel 🙂
Hi! Thank you for making this video. Can you also film a video where you talk about the Japanese skin care products from your first video that you kept using?
the Hado Labo Gokujyun IS a toner. the Japanese refer to toner as lotion....
Biore is the best sunsceen I have ever used till now
Beware ance prone people, the sana all in one jelly moisturizer might break you out. It causes me to break out with white heads. Rip. I wonder if I can still use it 🤔
DHC lip balm is a bomb, compared to any other brands I have used
You are so pretty! You have great skin!
Hi Kim, could you teach us how to read japanese cosmetics expiry dates? Most brands don't print a manufacture or expiry date. How do you decipher from the batch code??
