I agree. This album is totally different from what we're used to with WayV, but I also dig this fresh and funky sound. It suits them so well and performance wise, it's refreshing to see them smiling all throughout the song. And yes! I totally feel the absence of Winwin. There are some parts of the songs that I think would suit him so well. Hopefully the scheduling can be fixed and we'll see him on their next release.
thank you for your reaction! it's always nice to hear your analysis i think in this ep "she a wolf" is the closest to the dark dramatic wayv sound, it could've been the title track but ultimately "give me that" was chosen as for the "new ride", Kun was somewhat involved in the process, he's close with the producers and gave some remarks. pretty much from the beginning this song was being written specifically for wayv with Kun advising what would suit members more both "she a wolf" and "new ride" are promoted b-sides and wayv have performed them
