Sorry to say but your statement is false. Historically its proven what he wanted. If you will only read his address at Bar Association Karachi on 25th of January 1948, it will become clear what he wanted as did Iqbal. There are almost 73 statements of his where he mentions “Islamic governance”. Not once does he mention “secularism”. You do not need to become apologetic for someone’s bad experience to the extent that you dismiss what’s factual. Discrimination against minorities isn’t structural, its individual which renders it unnecessary to argue for a secular governance.
Religion gives a lot only to politicians , while common people are befooled with religious propagandas by politicians & suffering only for fools which were befooled
@@pirtawseef5945 then that is a state of shame for us that let it happen. We shouldn’t blame this on religion but on ourselves. Politicians are only effective as far as we let them be. A recourse to secularism is not the answer to solve this ignorance on our part. If not religion, secular principles will be exploited by the same politicians while we remain unconcerned. Regardless, your concern still doesn’t change the aforementioned fact. There is no such thing as secularism in Islam at least. Neither was such governance demanded by Jinnah or Iqbal.
