EW Bullinger in his book Numbers in Scripture had mentioned that Elisha had asked according to Scriptures a double portion of his spirit in 2Kings 2. And as a result the last miraculous fulfillment of God's promise of giving the double portion of Elijah's spirit was over Elisha's dead body.
