I was there in March 2007. Somehow I no longer remember it. Certainly not as many cafes, tourists etc We had a meal in a cellar restaurant taken there by a charming Romanian couple. Simplicity and fun. Something has been lost
I recorded a few walks during that day. ua-cam.com/users/results?search_query=poptravel+brasov - I have one more to post Getting out of Bucharest and then further into Transylvania was a nice trip so maybe these videos help a bit to remember. More of Romania is here: ua-cam.com/play/PLaxUrZNxL7WKpEI4yAA63KK2n6EHu9gaW.html
I was here the other day and think you just about covered it but i do recommend taking the cable car up the mountain to the location of the giant Brasov sign to take in some great views of the city. Avoid the railway station at night though.
I really enjoyed our travels together @poptravel It is wonderful to have been able to join you on these trips. Please don't take it so seriously. We had a great time together the past year 😊
Ah, seems like we both have been to this gorgeous city this year. For me, it was rainy, but still very enjoyable. I really liked the part of the city that was behind the old town, sort of going uphill towards the end of the valley 😁
I also had a rainy evening there in Brasov. Only spent 2n there though I felt it was enough - for the videos at least. In Romania I was able to see most places I wanted. Just Craiova, Iasi and Constanta weren't on the route and may be visited at a later time. Overall I was super impressed about the progress and how nice it felt compared to the early 2000's.
Within 2 mins I am enjoying another part of europe thank you.🕺
Frumosul Brasov ❤
J’aime Brasov l’hiver. Merci pour ce partage.

@@poptravelorg Yeah Romania has come a long way.. but n still quite far from being well established in European tourism
@@FlexxenRandomPlacespor desgracia actualmente está entre los países más pobres de Europa 😞! Solo de toda Rumania Bucarest se salva

💝💖👍
Looks quite depressed to me.
Ok ok
Maybe not depressed, but it would be nicer if they would restore all the buildings...
It looks to me like a tourist trap. I was there in 2007. The Black Church etc, Simplicity, and not hordes of people.
So you’ll go to popular tourist destinations but a quieter one in Romania is a trap to you?
How about your ugly gray houses in UK? Aren’t them depressing?
