Footbal has already changed into a tactical game. Their mindsets are still stuck at individual skill, no offense. The players can succeed at good clubs, but the nation needs to adapt to win again.

I am Brazilian, and there is a lot of talk here about how midfield players who play for smaller teams in the Premier League are not good, and about the fact that players who perform well in the Brazilian league are not being called up.

@@suit545 its an interesting point for sure and one Dorvial seemed to pick up on to begin with, calling up several uncapped domestic players when he first came in, but at the Copa America that dipped as you say.. I think it’s a balance at the end of the day between those global stars and those players who while not in the same spotlight are very good and worth putting faith in - (Fluminense’s Andre for example!)

The solution for Brazil is one. They should sack coach Dorival and bring back Tite

You just forgot to mention in your analysis that in this century no country has won more championships than Brazil. There have been 9 championships: one World Cup, three Copa América titles, three Confederations Cups, and two Olympic gold medals. Moreover, Brazil, along with France, is the country that exports the most players to the top five leagues in the world, despite not being a European country. Brazil is the country with the most goals in the Champions League, with over 1000 goals. The second place is France, with less than 850. Brazil has had at least one player win the Champions League every year since 2004. Besides all this, Brazil continues to produce the greatest football prospects in the world, such as Endrick, Estêvão, and many others with less "hype". Rest assured that things are under control and soon everything will return to normal. It's part of the process.
