Wonderful groovy original poster artwork on the front of this now Out Of Print ‪@zavvi‬ Exclusive steelbook.
Great spot glossing and embossing on title and debossed border. Great to have a fullslip to help reduce the risk of scratched and dents to the actual steelbook during delivery and when on your shelf. Although if you look carefully at the top left of this steelbook, it had obviously been packaged with some paint already scraped off the top left edge (!?!) before it was shrink wrapped
More great original artwork on the back of the steelbook and inside the steelbook.
Totally recommend hunting this down if you can find it for the collection.
Superseded in most ways by the recent Barbarella 4K Arrow release, but this is a valuable addition as a steelbook variant.

Classic! So random and imaginative. Some fantastic imagery, cinematography, sets, music, 60's fashion and Jane Fonda of course. The #steelbook is really nice with the spot glossing and the artwork on the back is awesome. Interestingly the title on the #steelbook is Barbarella - Queen of the Galaxy which is the title for the softer, edited PG rated version released in America. But the disc is the unedited "racier" version. 🤘🙂

Shame we didn't get this as a steelbook for the 4k restoration version the newly artwork is so boring and crap compared to this blu ray it looks stunning. I've always said why do we get crap 4k steelbook lately when these films have been restored with better quality 4k picture in mind with hd10 and dolby vision but the artwork don't live up to the older steelbooks this one being an example you can't beat the original poster artwork

@@bioshock6935 You're not wrong there! Deffo original art rules! 🤘😎. They had an Arrow Store original Art exclusive with the original poster art but it was very limited and all the rest of the releases were "the new art". I think for these deluxe editions they should have the Original artwork as a go to standard. Maybe it's a licensing thing or a rights issue. Probably costs them more money! Did you see the recent Poltergeist 4K #steelbook. I was literally offended by that art. What were they thinking!?! I hope you've clicked the Subscribe button!?! If not, do it now! 🤘.
