***Note for players*** Slim Dunlap from MNPLs was the guitar player that replaced Bob on this album. INCREDIBLY good player, created a few solo albums ,"The Old new me" and "Times like this", but a very different player then Stinson was. I also played the song way Heavier then Dunlap played it. It can work, but if played the way I did, it should be turned down and tucked deep into the mix of the song. Not out front and in your face. Part of the solo was improvised (2:15) to fill a space. The main riff is muffled a bit by using the outer rim of my pick hand. Not much else to say about playing the song. The Replacements highest charting single.
J Kenny TY Its my attempt anyways. If you watch Paul play it in his recent vid's, he is doing it a different way. "The right way". ( I just gave the rib's a bit more spice")
I noticed Paul does the intro riff up on the 5th and 7th frets, but I like how you do it with the open chords, as it allows the root notes to keep ringing for a fuller sound if playing solo or with one guitar.
J Kenny TY I like it better to lol I think he alt tunes on the song? After Bob was out, Paul always stepped in the wrong direction. He tried every style, but keeps missing out on what the magic was. It was Bobs guitar and Pauls writing ability, voice and lyrics.
@FallenAshes12 Thanks! As for the tittle of the "Nowhere song",I just went with what was listed on ITunes. Someone posted on the vid comments that the song was on an album released in the U.K called "Boink". I have been playing my entire life, started out sneaking my gramma's sears guitar and amp and playing to her Neil Diamond records at age 8

Thanks for sharing that, I'd been trying to figure this song out and this helped me fill in the blanks.

@cocoBLOCK43 Sorry, I do not use Tabs.
🤘
Your more a rhythm guitar player than a lead. Great playing nevertheless.
