Shaken is the main thing that changed a few years ago. It used to be that attempting to throw off shaken used your action, instead of being a free action. This meant that it was possible that a character, once shaken, might not be able to act for several turns, including the turn they threw it off! It meant bennies got saved for cancelling shaken, instead of used for other things. The change was controversial, but I think it is a significant improvement.
I think you didn't discuss spending bennies to soak wounds. Forget the specifics but its a roll to negate some or even all wounds from the current attack. Or maybe you did and I just spaced out for a moment.
About as clear as mud. When does a character actually die? Undefined. > Toughness = Wound 16:35 --- 3 Wounds = Incapacitated = Vigor role. Crit failure = death... If you fail you are permanent injured and BLEEDING OUT. Succeed vigor role = Needs taken care of. 18:22 - Failed Vigor role while Incapacitated = Bleeding out. Now if you fail you die is what you said. So 3 Wound = Incapacitated but not dead. Successful Vigor role = Bleeding out. Bleeding out = failed Vigor role = Death? Finally? OMG This could not possibly be more complicated.
I haven’t finished the whole video but I thought I would ask before I forgot. When initiative cards are handed out and a joker is pulled do all the players receive bennies from the GM on top of the plus two to rolls?
@@G11354 LOL! Yea I remember watching that guy a long time ago! I'll take it as a compliment for sure! Posted it on my social media and people thought it was hilarious! =)

Thanks for offering this explanation of SWADE. Very helpful!
Healing after the Golden Hour - Powers (magic, psi, weird science etc) can also heal outside the hour, as well as natural healing.
Doing a one shot this Saturday. This was helpful, thanks.
Thank you for this 😊
Thank you. You did answer some of my questions. I am a new player to this system trying to understand it. I am an old school Traveller player.
I enjoy your videos. Thanks for the great content!
Greetings from Denmark :-)

Thanks for the informative video
'Not a huge miniature person' 👍
🤣🤣🤣
Got a Joker for your initiative round? That's when you try those "unskilled" things, it'll work out, trust me. LOL
once you know the basics combat is really fast and simple
Yea, it seems to make sense. I think after a few practice rolls it would be fairly easy to get everything down.
Anyone getting in on Rocket Pig Games new Kickstarter...the 3d Printable Support-Free Monster Miniatures one?

Yes every player gets a Benny whoever pulled joker gets +2 as well
Good video. Has anyone mentioned that you look and sound like "Joe Bob Briggs"?
LMAO! No! That is a first!!
@@LogicianTim Just for clarity, it was intended as a compliment. Briggs was great on the old "TNT Monstervision" episodes.
