I have what must be the same scale design of Marshall and Rose, but without the player mechanism. My great grandfather paid 135 pounds for it in 1924, when the currency here in New Zealand was still pounds. From what I can see, the frame/plate of your example looks the same as mine, so I can recognise some characteristics of its tone, though I think your piano sounds less worn out! Great grandfather originally used an external push-up pianola, which is long gone.
Those old push-ups were good cuz they could be used on any piano. The internal player mechanism took over cuz it was invisible and a lot less bother and took up a lot less space.
