One point, and probably one of the more important ones, that I carelessly omitted while making this video, is that the AP5 was the last model Valiant built at Mile End, early in its run. During 1964, assembly and some parts manufacturing was shifted to the new giant Tonsley Park factory, in Adelaide's southern suburbs.
had a regal AP5 late 60s to late 70s. Went very well but terrible at stopping. Easy change to VF disc brakes and twin circuit master cylinder - just bolted on. Also 6inch rims with ER70 tyres made a difference.

Great video showing the Australian Valiant start. The AP roof line is much better looking a more formal appearance
