I've had a lot of limb hits with the shotbolt lately. It definitely feels like it should be more powerful than the standard bolt since it's harder to use, but I feel let down by it lately, too.. I don't know if Crytek changed something or if it's just me being out of practice with the crossbow. When update 1.13 comes out, I hope the shooting range includes shotbolt because I'd like to have the chance to better dial in my sense of its trajectory, maybe start landing torso hits a little bit more reliably.
I love crossbow, but I rarely ever take shotbolt anymore. It kills decently well if you hit directly, but anytime I wallbang with it I just collect hit markers. Its been ages since I've gotten a wallbang kill with it.
Yeah, I think the shot bolt is such a viable solo weapon. It's silent can one shot body at close range distance. Also nothing to snuff at for bullet pen either. I actually prefer it over the explosive bolt currently.
I don't think they changed anything with the shotbolt so it might just feel different in comparison to the normal bolts, which got a buff a little ways back.

SOLID. I've been using Dual Scottfields with FMJ, and romeo with slugs/penny shot. Worked extremely well. I've discovered recently how accurate even dual weilded Scottfields are.
I'd agree, shotbolt feels significantly more inconsistent than it did a couple months back. Idk why but even center mass hits feel off- 🤷♂️ I've been taking normal bolts over shot as of lately.
Neenoh, if you don't mind me asking, why do you have/need 3 different accounts? Is it for security reasons? Or just because you like prestiging? Love your content man. Watching you play always gets me pumped for another couple rounds of Hunt: Showdown.
Kinda hope hunt fixes connection issues soon, it’s like the game will go through a month of consistent rubberbanding for me when all other games feel fine to play

It won't include shotbolt but you can bring anything you want into the range by equipping your hunter.

I believe they need to be, practically, stuck to the wall for the shotbolt wallbang to kill them, in my experience at least.

Yeah I think shotbolt is the same. But I have a feeling, that the explosive bolt has more drop than it used to have. Feels weird somehow.
