Thanks for the video! I built a complete chatbot integrate with OpenAI and with persistent data in two days (Im not a good coder hehe) with claude dev, Im simply astonished by it. Sadly, limiting 1M tokens per day is my block right now, hope we can get a larger window with Claude later on.
While it's true that they are both AI coding assistants, I feel that Aider is more feature rich but Claude Dev is more intuitive and easier. My approach currently is starting out with claudeDev and doing the tweaks with Continue (Which is similar to Aider(
so , is the feature automatically used... or can we add our context...to cache ..like a styling guide file. is the files you add as you go along with changes ...then cached?
You can add a system message in the settings area. That being said, after reading the code of ClaudeDev (related to Prompting Cache) I'm not 100% clear about the mechism.
Are you limited by Anthropic? I often switch to Open router. And also try to get work done via the Chat interface. Couldn't find better solution for this yet
Do you find that open router is less smart than going straight thru the Claude API? I feel like I get way more errors with open router..and everything just "works" when I do it through Anthropics API. The rate limit really sucks though. @@YaronBeen
Thank you for letting us know about the new features! I was aware and happily using the prompt caching that came with 1.2.0 but didn't know history has been added, that's going to be soooo amazing and helpful. Best regards!

That's awesome, congrats.
Yes, the talking limit is quite annoying.
I am sure it will be solved soon.

Great video. What's the difference between Claude Dev and Aider?

How do you deal with the call rate limitations? I feel like I'm doing something wrong. It stops after about 5 minutes of using it for me.

Happy to help!
@@YaronBeen Now if only we can figure out how to stop hitting the daily rate limit on the number of request tokens per day at Anthropic :)
Haha yeah,
When there's no choice- i just switch to Open Router.
@@YaronBeen whoa, major unlock potential, thank you SO much again Yaron. You're the GOAT
Haha enjoy
last time i used it cost me almost 2usd per aps
What were you building? $2 does not sound too much.
Claude dev is not coding, it is error copy paste bs.
