I am not using R&S math for my grandsons now. I am using Saxon for my 11 year old grandson and The Good and the Beautiful Simply Math for my 10 year old grandson. I am still using R & S English for both of them though. But R & S math grades 1 through 3 is a solid curriculum!
I really wish I had an answer for you Dina. It's a pretty traditional math curriculum but it does have lots of repetition which was great for my little ones. It's great at teaching the memorization of the basic addition/subtraction facts. I hope this helped. If you have more questions about this curriculum, feel free to ask. Have a blessed day.

Yes, the teacher manual tells what cards to use and what lesson to use them in. I hope that helps.
