I hath created something... unforseen. Something honed.. Something pristine. It isn't aligned or faultless, but it's is divine, and it belongs to myself. What else shall I do?
Come embrace, come embrace. Huzzah, come embrace come embrace. Rejoice, come embrace, come embrace. Hurrah, come embrace, come embrace
📮
Doesn't "thou" mean "you"?
why do you keep changing all the 1st person lines to 2nd person barb??
Wrong tense. 'Thou' is 2nd person- it's 'you.' You just want 'I hath.'
Isabela: I hath made something yet unheard of.
‘Tis quite sharp, aye, ‘tis new
It hath quite many imperfections, yet ‘tis wondrous, and ‘tis mine.
What more couldst I do?
What more couldst I do?
Mirabel: Hither come, hither come.
Isabela: I hath rows upon rows of roses
I grow mayflower by the hour
I form flawless, practiced poses
Behind my joyous guile, I feel sour.
What more couldst I do were my actions based on feelings in the present?
Mirabel: Dost thou know where thou goest? (Woah)
Isabela: What more couldst I do if mine imperfections were all accepted.
Merely I’d need to be, and I’d be set free.
A windy gale of violet flowers
Spaniard moss (grand)
Roots that climb ('tis fair)
Tropical trees spangle the firmament as I emerge!
What more couldst I do?
Couldst I bring forth for us a chorus of morn's dew
Take caution, 'tis carnivorous, I prithee 'tis quite true
I want for all that could be new,
Of being fair, I tire 'tis what has turned me blue.
Mirabel: I had thought that thou life were a perfect thing ever since thou werest conceived.
Isabela: What distance these roots go down
Mirabel: Now I knowest the blossoms thou growst yet 'tis grand the power thou hast received.
Both: How far can we get? We know not as of yet, therefore let us rise!
Isabela: A windy gale of violet flowers (yea!)
Spaniard moss (hie!)
Roots that climb (groweth forth!)
Tropical trees spangle the firmament as I emerge!
What more couldst I do? (What more? What more?)
What doeth I when passionately I art living in the moment?
Mirabel: Seize the moment, go onwards!
Both: What canst thou do when understandest thou canst not ever be perfect.
Yet I shall fare quite well (huzzah, everyone must move aside!)
Isabela: I cometh through with splendrous robles,
I maketh waves (maketh waves)
I changest minds (Thou hast changed mine)
My path no longer has a hindrance and 'tis all because of thee!
What more couldst I do?
What more couldst I do?
What more couldst I do?
Excuse me Spaniard moss? 👁👄👁
YES
Interesting as medieval people wouldn't have known the plants existed
@@patax144 medieval ppl didn't know about plants..?
@@jane_wants_to_feel the plants in the song, most of them are south american or colombian endemic flowers, so medieval europeans, or in this case medieval english people, wouldn't have known they existed or have words for them.

YES
And the song at the beginning!
That one is my favorite besides we don’t talk about bruno
Have you achieved ultimate happiness?
@@patax144 yes I did!
Wait how is this possible I literally discovered your Bardcore Encanto songs ten minutes ago
Same here! 😊
Same !
I've just discovered them today and I totally love them
algorithm
Exquisite beauty of Lady Isabelle, suppresses her unbearable anguish.
Guys i just noticed something crazy, at minute 2:01 , it sounds like the part that she sings in "we dont talk about bruno" but like the notes are higher and more uplifting? as if the prophecy now truly came true.
Edit!: I just saw that mirabel was singing at that part, which adds even more to this song, isa and mira had always been fighting, and just as soon as they bonded, isas prophecy fulfilled! :)
It does the same thing on the original song, Mirabel's the one singing it. And it really is as if the prophecy came true, it's beautiful!
Oh my word
yes mirabel is. also isa sing this part in all of you
But yes, isabella verse in her song use the same key note as in Bruno but in higher pitch. You can see the explanation on the song documantation behind the scene.
Omg I left a similar comment just now, it absolutely escaped my notice until I heard this!!
I can totally picture doña Isabella de la Mancha Madrigal dancing to this in medieval Spain in front of her Moor lover Sancho.
For once I see someone picturing, Medieval/renaissance Spain and not England
@@patax144 Well, in Colombia we really didn't have Medieval times... So the closest thing is connecting to Spain.
@@jaimepe4765 I am Colombian too and yes, we didn't really have medieval times, they would have to put indigenous cultures stuff, and El Quijote was published after the conquest on 1605, which is renaissance, a more medieval thing would have been El cantar del Mio Cid. But El Quijote was the main Spanish literature brought over and that helped the spread of Spanish culture.
DE LA MANCHA 😭😭😭
Mariano looks Spanish, Isabella like a moor.
The song is amusing but reading the comments is also a joy

Thou must do "Dos Oruguitas"!
YESS
por favor fazer Dos Orugillas
That is my attempt at medieval spanish.
@@patax144 that's portguese 😭
I just made something unexpected
Something sharp
Something new
It's not symmetrical or perfect
But it's beautiful
And it's mine
What else can I do?
Bring it in, bring it in
(Good talk!) Bring it in, bring it in
What else can I do?
(Let's walk!) Bring it in, bring it in
(Free hugs!) Bring it in, bring it in
I grow rows and rows of roses
Flor de mayo
By the mile
I make perfect, practiced poses
So much hides behind my smile
What could I do if I just grew what I was feeling in the moment?
(Do you know where you're going? Whoa!)
What could I do if I just knew it didn't need to be perfect?
It just needed to be? And they let me be?
A hurricane of jacarandas
Strangling figs (Big!)
Hanging vines (This is fine)
Palma de cera fills the air as I climb
And I push through
What else can I do?
Can I deliver us a river of sundew?
Careful, it's carnivorous, a little just won't do
I wanna feel the shiver of something new
I'm so sick of pretty
I want something true, don't you?
You just seem like your life's been a dream
Since the moment you opened your eyes
(How far do these roots go down?)
All I know are the blossoms you grow
But it's awesome to see how you rise
How far can I rise?
Through the roof, to the skies
Let's go!
A hurricane of jacarandas (Whoo!)
Strangling figs (Go!)
Hanging vines (Grow!)
Palma de cera fills the air as I climb
And I push through
What else, what else?
What can you do when you are deeply, madly, truly in the moment?
(Seize the moment, keep goin')
What can you do when you know who you wanna be isn't perfect?
But I'll still be okay
Hey, everybody clear the way (Whoo!)
I'm coming through with tabebuia
(She's coming through with that booyah!)
Making waves (Making waves)
Changing minds (You've changed mine)
The way is clearer 'cause you're here, and well
I owe this all to you
What else can I do?
Show 'em what you can do
What else can I do?
There's nothing you can't do
What else can I do?
That's great. Now someone turn this into medieval talk
I'm pretty sure that's literally the original lyrics to "What else can I do"
Do this in Medieval English
This is a great music to listen while studying History
I’d just assume my past life was in the Medieval period. Btw, great cover!!
Amateur attempt at lyrics:
I has't grown something unexpect'd
Something sharp, something new
Tis not symmetrical 'r perfect
But this beauty belongs to me
What else will bloom?
(Cometh here, cometh here
No more so cometh here, cometh here)
What else will bloom?
(Let us walk, cometh here, cometh here,
Free embrace, cometh here, cometh here)
I groweth rows and rows of roses
flor de mayo, by the mile
I has't p'rfect, practic'd poses
Some things I hideth all the while
What couldst I maketh if I grew what I wanted in the moment?
(Do thee knoweth what thou art doing? Whoa!)
What couldst I maketh if perfect things were not needed?
It only needeth to be and thee wouldst let me be?
A hurricane of jacarandas
Strangling figs (big), hanging vines (this is fine)
Palma de cera fills the air as I climb
And I riseth through
What else will bloom?
Can I createth a river of sundew?
Careful, tis carniv'rous, and m're shall bloom
I needeth the shiv'r of something new
Beauty is wearisome, I needeth the truth, and thee?
(Thee seemeth liketh thy life is a dream)
Whoa
(From the moment lighteth shin'd on thy eyes)
How far doth these roots groweth down?
(All I knoweth art the blossoms thee groweth)
Whoa
(But tis wondrous to seeth how thee riseth)
How far can I riseth?
Through the roof, to the skies
Let us go
A hurricane of jacarandas (woo)
strangling figs (go), hanging vines (grow)
palma de cera fills the air as i climb
And I riseth through
What else, what else?
What happeneth when thou art deeply, madly, truly in the moment?
(Carpe Diem, keepeth going)
What happeneth when thee knoweth thee is not perfect?
But all shall be fine
ho, ev'rybody cleareth a line, woo
I am coming through with tabebuia (she is coming through with that oo-ya)
Making waves (making waves), changing minds (thee hath changed mine)
The way is cleareth because thou art here, and
I give all my thanks to you
What else will bloom?
(Show them thee has't bloomed)
What else will bloom?
(Thee maketh all things bloom)
What else will bloom?
you didn't try to translate the names of plants that just don't exist in medieval english, good
@@patax144 I didn't see the point because it's not English in the original 👍
The perfect theme for the retaliation of a Princess .
This makes me very happy.
This is by far my favourite song in Encanto, as I have personally felt the Hispanic family, "Perfection Attention," and I heavily relate to Isabella's whole journey. From being seen as the family's bright shiny future, to becoming obsessed with trying to meet impossible expectations, until eventually discovering that I can't be perfect so instead embracing the imperfection!
Besides, "Imperfection is beautiful!"
this is the most beautiful/enjoyable cover yet. the stringy instrument?? MIRABELS PART?? THE LAST CHORUS?? MY GOD.
This is what plays when the villagers burns Isabella at the stake for witchcraft.
Isabella could just grow her self out of there tbh
she lives in a secluded village where her witchcraft is accepted, even revered (at least because it's useful)
wow Isabela

Medieval is my new favourite type of music.
Never clicked so fast on a video🙌
The Medieval period wasn't the great era but the music sure was
I did NOT realize there was a musical callback to Isabela’s lines in We Don’t Talk About Bruno until I heard 2:01
OMG me neither... and there are some many callbacks in other songs to in regards to the other songs. The main one is the ending song. I noticed surface pressure and this song in that song and also the first song was in it too and Bruno was on it... absolute masterpiece
I would love to hear Dos Oruguitas in a medieval style. Also this so beautiful you’re amazingly talented

magic
seriously is pure magic
I now created such uniqueness
Such that's point, such that's fresh
Though against geometric's align
Yet still harmonious from my made
How more will I craft?
Go along, go along
Nice words, go along, go along (how more will I craft?)
Chat me, go along, go along
Cuddles, go along, go along
I bring blooms by blooms of roseates
Flowers of May, in this length
I'm being flawless, in poise and grace
As everything must done in lies
How more would I be as I learn to mature my inner strength now?
(Can you tell which way you'll choose? Aeeh)
How more may I be as I realized I growth from mistakes?
So then be it that way? So they'll see my true spark?
Flowing with fragrant trumpetal trees
Shrubing bulbs (huge), stretching boughs (all is well)
Quindo wax palms rise to blue sky while I hike
To be break through
How more will I craft?
May I present you a field of dewdrop?
Alas, this flesh eater, these still not enough
I longing for a warmth from exploration
Charisma is boring, I long to be truth, agree?
Perhaps you feel these as delusion (wooo)
That you can never get out from dark
(How deep can rootstocks descend?)
Simply think your garden being full (wooo)
Yet your splendor is shown so highly
What's more you highly?
(what's more I highly?)
Up to ceiling, reaching clouds
Come on
Flowing with fragrant trumpetal trees (awe)
Shrubing bulbs (more), stretching boughs (rise)
Quindo wax palms rise to blue sky while I hike
To be break through
How more, how more?
How more will you be as you're showing, glowing, the inner strength now?
(Own the chances, let's growing)
How more shall you be as all that being you means "progress"?
So it'll be fine later
Oi, townfolks make a path, hyaaa
I'm going down by robling trumpets (she's going down in rocking triumpaaah)
Tuning steps (tuning steps), Reforming heart (you've reformed heart)
The path is cleaner as you're with me, so then
I indebt you so much
How more will I craft?
(Glowing full your glorious)
How more will I craft?
(Nomore that's holding back)
How more will I craft?
