2:55 Why did "Destructive Daruma Karma Cannon" effect, that sends face-up monsters to the grave, resolve, if there was no monster on the field, that could be set face-down ?
Makes you send the monsters to the grave not destroys them, card says if any cards are face up the owner must send them to the grave. Sangen summoning prevents them from being targeted by the first part of karma cannon, but not the second part forcing you to send them
@@Sableye0.0 you read the card, it says "then", A has go happen for B to happen, at least one monster must be set by the cannon. Less laugh emojis and more learning how to play.
Sorry I was unfamiliar with the ruling until I looked it up. You are correct. Reading the card first glance I would presume the effect resolves, and watching on stream this action with a certified judge I spoke without thought. Thank you for clarifying, bad judge 😅
this was a joke of a finals daruma cannon resolving when it shouldnt, prosp digging for 6 after only banishing 3, marcello B's co-commentator having a annoying voice, tempai not discarding for field spell this was just a whole late april fools joke of a event.
nah, daruma's resolving the way you think is an ocg thing, so it can totally be different for TCG, i'd personally see no reason why it wouldn't send those tenpai to the grave main phase 1, seems perfectly logical from a game mechanic standpoint, the card doesn't even state "at least 1" after the "change as many as you can".
@@silverhyperdeath6815 like i said, ocg vs tcg thing and also there are several examples of similar effects where the card actually specifies "at least 1", meanwhile this doesn't. putting so much importance on properly identifying and interpreting a single word ("then") is dumb game design and shouldn't be a thing, especially since it's not intuitive nor easily accessible information.

Retracting my previous comment. If no cards were flipped face-down, its second effect should not have taken off. Bad judge.

I see at least 4/5, because he dropped 1, then dropped like 2/3 and then another 1. Still kind of sus tbh
He dropped 1, then if u look at the Links, he dropped 4, then 1 more for a total of 6

Daruma karma cannon didn't set anything face down so nothing should have been sent to the graveyard
Sure, if nothing set, rest effect didn’t resolve

I think you guys need to learn how to read. The card says "as possible" .if its 0 its 0. then you can send all face ups to grave
