thought i had an end game with the Denon SX1 dcd limited only released in Japan, it is very nice but guess I could sell after only owning for 4 months...maybe it will be a mistake...If you're interested, reach out... I think i have the itch for this Klimax DSM 2 or 3 organic and add my favorite cd player...any input would be welcomed
Out of this world sound with an out of this world price tag. Would love to see Linn products with better price-/performance ratios, affordable to the average person. Seems like Linn only has the elite in focus, unfortunately. Even with the lower end of products. Apart from this, can anybody please explain why a piece of equipment costing such an amount of money, comes with an el-cheapo plastic remote? Come on Linn, you can do better than that. An all aluminium remote should come standard.
@R D Actually there is, but the key difference is After Sales Support! Try getting something that costs 10 times less repaired after its 5 year warranty has expired. You never will because that level of product doesn't have a 5 year warranty :')
I'd love it if Linn made their own version of the Bluesound Node for like £2k but they never will because it would cut into to their Majik and Selekt sales. More like a luxury lifestyle brand these days than an audiophile company.
Well…what does a remote do for you for network music streaming? The remote is secondary to say the least. You use the app for music selection, volume control, input selection, etc. I’d rather see them put money into the chassis, not a pointlessly heavy remote that does nothing for audio performance.
never did like 384khz digital up sampling no matter which way the cookie crumbled it . Recording studios have never used the 384khz up sampling anyway , and never will anytime never
I’m interested. How does it sound? We need to know about the outcome and benefits of amazing technology.
So glad Linn hasn't gone down the MQA snake oil path.
can't wait to hear it, dealer has one on order for demo

No word about the app to operate the streamers. Hope they develop one to finally get away from Linn Kazoo.
