as a rangers fan, i want to say it but i dont wanna get ahead of myself. Its exciting indeed tho, no matter what happens, its been such a fun year. i will say to you, EDM looks legit as well, similar to us, you guys are lethal on special teams. i think theyll poop on Vancouver this round!

And best powerplay last 20 games of the season by quite a margin. And despite what people always say, PP opportunities do not go down in the playoffs. Prior to the 2006 lockout PP opportunities increased by about 6% in the playoffs. Since the lockout, PP opportunities go up by around 3% in the playoffs.

Like the ’94 Rangers Cup Team....this is setting up for that same scenario. Presidents Cup, Sweep 1st round, Win 2nd Round in 5, etc....maybe Boston Stretches the Cats to 7, and who knows
I forsee Oilers v Rangers. Both teams absolute monsters it might be the best matchup since 2013 Hawks v Bruins.

With Laviolette, the Rangers look like they determine the style of game the opponent wants to play, then beats them at it. They've shown they can do it all, but in a 7 game series, they're going to have to be the proactive team to win the series. Laviolette knows what he's doing, and this teams seems all in on the plan. 5 straight in the playoffs, madness.
Rangers are +550 to win the Cup...this morning...Florida is +450...the favorite this morning...yes...it is the closest the Rangers have been to win since 2014 and before game 7 of the 2015 ECF...
I'd say that's because Florida doesn't have to face a tough round 2 opponent so moving on is easier, but if the Rangers eliminate the Canes the analysts will still favor the Canes to win it all

No disrespect to any other team but I think the Rangers and Canes play team defense in all scenarios about as well as any in the league. Both teams finished with just over 20 shots for the game and most were limited chances at best!

I hope the Rangers somehow manage to win this in 4 or 5 games, because if it goes to 7, they’ll be gassed out to face the Panthers. If they go to 7 with Carolina, then 7 with the Panthers, there’s no way they win vs Dallas or Colorado or Edmonton, they will be too depleted.
Rangers have the better System by far...the Rangers use the NewAge Hockey System...the Oilers dont have a chance...Vancouvers System is also an NHS variant and has a chance to beat the Rangers.
