Very quite interesting.
I remember seeing 2 P classes hauling these carriages, with the condition of these carriages, that is only a memory. I hope some end up preserved and restored.
I only "liked" because I like your content. I live in Echuca and am embarrassed by the way these carriages have been mistreated. It was interesting to see the inside of the conductors compartments. Hopefully the government sees sense and either finds uses for these surplus carriages or scraps them quickly. They are a blight on an otherwise nice arrival into Echuca.

Look at the filth all over the carriage broken and smashed by the train vandal these vandals should have been given jail time.
Very interesting video but also sad the H set are just sitting in a siding been targeted by vandalism.
Remaining H set that stored at regional locations, eventually to be scrapped and turn into tinned food at the supermarket.
Were can l purchase one of these train carriages

Why can't abandoned carriages like these be usec for homeless accommodation to those that need it IN Britain this is common for old stock

What was senseless was refurbishing such old trains in the first place.
Why would the powers at be leave them unhoused and open to vandalism?
