Very nice attempt! Samanvitha is perfect! This is one of the top Kannada duets ever. The MC saying that Illayaraja was working as a guitarist with GK Venkatesh, in a way conveys that he may have played the guitar for this song. It is really unknown who played the guitar. Making such statements without correct information takes away credit from the musician, whoever played the guitar. It was true that Illayaraja was still working with GKV, but on a bigger role of taking notes from GKV, as described by Director Bhargava.

Good try. But the tempo was a little missing. The singers missed out on rhythm here and there. However the harmonisation in the initial stage and closing stages of the song were good and pleasing on the ears.
