Redbull may have been at the forefront of the grid for the past three seasons for obvious reasons but this year, it seems like the drama off track is at an all time high and teams such as Ferrari are ready to take advantage of this to better themselves. Ferrari chairman, John Elkann, has always expressed the need to bring Ferrari back to its golden years in the early two thousands and that entails poaching a couple of engineers from Redbull, including the reknown Adrian Newey.
Ferrari has also been in talks with four other engineers about a potential move in 2025 and these are, Enrico Balbo who is the head of aerodynamics, David Morgan who is red bulls aero trackside performance team leader, Ben Waterhouse who is the head of performance engineering and Alessandro Germani, an expert in computational fluid dynamics. While these gentlemen are very accomplished in their own rights, Adrian Newey seems to be that brilliant mind that Ferrari needs and they are willing to do just about anything to get him on their team. Its not about the money, its about how he's treated and how the rest of the engineering team at Ferrari will treat him firstly as an engineer, but also as a non Italian.
