I'm Thai and thank you for your love of traveling in Thailand. We are delighted and honored and wish that your trip will be very fun and happy. And sincerely hope that Thailand will always be your destination.😊😊
I've done Chiang mai to Pai at least 15 times on various different bikes and cars, I remember how quiet it was in 2002 when I first visited, there was only half, probably even less than half the amount of tourists and guesthiuses, you vould get a bungalow at mountain view for about 100 baht or something very close to that price, you could get noodles or any basic Thai dish forv20 baht no problem, we used to go to the famous waterfalls where people would run out offering all sorts of refreshments 😁 The drive up to Pai is still, and always will be so beautiful see whilst driving, hope you had a lovely time guys❤
Sounds wonderful, I wish I could see Thailand in that era, less touristy, less built up. Have you tried the Nan motorcycle loop? There’s no tourists, beautiful roads for big bikes. No traffic😄
Great video! We just booked Thailand for winter, and we will spend the first 2 months in Chiang Mai, I can't wait to do this road trip to Pai - thank you for sharing. Subscribed!
Thanks so much for watching 😊 Winter in Thailand is really lovely and the weather comfortable. Make sure to do the whole Loop 😃 Also check out the Nan loop Gustav did (longer driving and less touristy)
@eddiejaoude nice, just drive safe. And C&P big bike has been really good with new bikes that have been serviced😃 they have all the motorbikes you could want😄
Love the video! shows the road and the views so well ❤ Planning to head there in Jan/Feb next year and wondering what kind of temperatures can I expect the hills? Ok to ride in civvy clothes ( tee or hoodie etc) or is it too chilly? Not planing to take my bike gear tbh, too clumsy.
Hi there😃 you can expect nice and cool weather in January when you go up the mountains. But the valleys get nice and hot. It will be good to have a jacket for when it gets cold yes. The bike gear takes up a lot of space but really is nice to have for protection. Thanks for watching. Be sure to check out our other motorcycle adventures 😃
Depending on your passport, most people get 30days visa free. You can extend it 30days at immigration or you can fly out and back in for another 30. You can also apply for a 60day visa at a Thai embassy before coming.
Good advice on riding in Thailand. You will notice ZERO police on the roads, except for a few money-grabbing checkpoints. It's the wild west on the roadways!

By the way, how many days do you get as a tourist visa when you enter the country?…

Don't miss Songkran in April.
We did Sonkran last year, but will miss it this year unfortunately 🥲
@@K8andGustav Year 2025, you still haven't missed it.
🥰🥰🥰🥰ยินดีต้อนรับเที่ยวให้สนุกนะครับ
Thank you☺️
สุดยอด👏👍🙏
Thanks😃
I'm thai but I've never gone Pai before.
Me too
It was better 20 years ago, too many Farang, sticky shit, ki neouw😂, I'm from England myself but Farang have no respect when drunk.
You should go, its a beautiful Valley
Go check it out 😃
Yeah we also noticed there were a lot of hippies over there. Except for them its a great place to see.
How is the smoke ?
When we went it was clear skies, but at the moment it is really bad. Usually from Feb-May it gets smokey.
❤❤
3 friends have been killed in motorcycle accidents in Thailand in the last 3 years, very sobering
I am sorry to hear, the roads are really dangerous on a motorcycle. Be safe👍🏽
