I'm not sure if it's a normal thing for most guitar players but I'm amazed how he holds the green pick between his fingers the whole time and makes the flawless transition at 3:00.
I tip my hat off to you, good sir.
+D Hira people have different ways of holding their picks when they fingerpick. i usually just hold it in my mouth or palm but most often i just pluck the bass note with my pick while my other fingers fingerpick.
Brian Wahl studied Worship Music in college. One of the courses was called "Pick Switching 101" and I believed he got an A in it.
I used to have my pick stuck with blutac until I needed it. It didn’t always stick back when I was finished with it. 😂 I’m might have a try at this, but I’m not as young as when I played a lot. 🎸

This is a beautiful arrangement Brian. I've seen this sort of arrangemen but using the low and high E strings played with B chords but in the key of D. And have been looking to make it into the G key, which was hard for that arrangement so this is better.. haha thanks.

KJ Hutt thank you! She's actually cancer free now! We had just talked about the song in the summer when she was fighting cancer, so that's why I wanted to sing it for her. ;) i just ended up doing a piano/vocal cover instead. She gives God the glory for her recovery and she's an inspiration to me in so many ways.
