    Thanks for the info. I will definitely try feeding twice instead of once in the morning. I have filled feeders in the past and as you said by mid day they have eaten it all...I think they even eat more using the feeder and more feed to me seems like more cost rather than more growth...will use the feeding schedule for sure.

      You calculate 6 birds per sq metre. If very well managed, you can increase to 8

    Is there any difference if d birds ration is split to 3 per day. I do this when I noticed that they pick only the maize leaving d powdered part behind. I use cage. I make sure they have their full measure per day though.
