3. Divine
4. Chi
5. Low Rider
6. Shoots and Ladders
7. Faget
There hasn’t been another band that was so different as Korn. 7 string guitars, bag pipes, hip hop, death metal. It was from another planet. Changed metal music
Not really death metal but heavy groove
death metal how? Have you listened to Biohazard, Fear Factory, Machine Head, Life of Agony? pretty much they got some inspiration before becoming Korn as it is.
My God. David's drumming is the core of their sound.
I stopped listening to Korn when David got out
A tip : you can watch movies at Flixzone. Been using them for watching a lot of movies recently.
@Royal Onyx Definitely, I have been using flixzone} for years myself =)
Truth. Not to mention how ahead of his time he was with everything from set up to 808 samples
i always said that davids drumming is more than underestimated. and when head and david left, korn was dead for me. wasnt the same anymore
Korn not only invented a new sound like Black Sabbath, Metallica and Nirvana, they also invented how rock/metal musicians performed. Korn were all hunched over, head banging and jumping around on stage not just doing 80s moves or standing there head banging/whipping their hair.
This was rated #4 on Kerrang magazines 100 greatest gigs of all time
@MusicMoviesGames I would assume the whole festival but that seems kinda unlikely cuz was it really that popular of a festival?? Lol. Im surprised you're the only one to ask in 9 years lol.
@MusicMoviesGames yea Pantera played at this venue in 94 and it was a huge festival but this one looked not so big by camparaison so maybe the magazine was referring to the whole festival through the years like as a whole lol, idk.
This was my first gig of KORN. I came fir KISS and becam KORN-infected, high on Fear factoty and Sepultura.
I came by CAR from munich, Germany, and our souveniers from the Netherlands ;) made this event unforgettable!
Hell yeah I was amongst that crowd that day, it was crammed up on that second stage for korn, straight after this headed to main stage to watch biohazard who had already started, when you came over the top of the hill to the main stage there was a cloud of dust in front of the stage from everyone jumping up and down, refreshing to see the days when there were no goddamm mobile phones filming the gig everywhere, and just for the record still a fan over 20years later 😁🤘🏻
now that's a crowd!
Nowadays, the crowd is so filled with soy, heavy metals and gmo,s to even think clearly, much-less gather rage for jumps and mosh pits.
Check out the Woodstock 99 crowd as well
I was fortunate enough to be there for this the last proper Donington (not the 3 day Download version). The Friday was my 18th Birthday and the whole Saturday was fucking EPIC. It truly was a golgen age of metal, awesomeness and respect amongst brother and sister metal heads and shows without phones.....Man i miss the 90s
As a kid of the 90s, live show magic today is forever dead. Kids today will never know the fun we had! Loved these years
I agree i was born in 1974 so i saw the golden days of shows and they will never be like this again /////i saw korn way before this when no one knew who they were//and also marilyn manson who opened with korn for danzig
It's not dead. I grew up in the 90's and saw Korn live on the first 4 albums, and agree the energy at those shows was unmatched, mostly due to the band, partially due to the venues, crammed in standing room only, etc. But getting older, i still hit a show once in awhile where the crowd is going ape, if given the proper space to share that energy (e.g. not a lame seat filled amphitheater). There are newer bands coming up still doing it for love of heavy music and sharing that energy with the crowd. Hell just subscribing to Metal Blade's channel has opened my eyes quite a bit in recent years. But yeah, for me those years are missed!
Not sure what you're talking about, look at the footage of Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes in I think Brixton and look at the energy there?
@@JamesGames101 Never know who is replying to who with UA-cam, but my full point was that there are still plenty of bands bringing it in modern times!
Was born in 99 hardcore shows are still hype
What a great weekend this was.
15years old and was witness to this magic.
Donnington was awsome
Man, i was there, just after getting my eyebrow pieced in one of the tents! lol! What an awesome day and Korn were awesome!
Thank God this footage is avaialable
I remember some of this footage being on who than now. Cool to see more of this show.
Same.
David holding it down
I saw KoRn live like 10 times but i wish would have seen them in this era. This was sick as hell !
Man i love that Bass Slapin.
0:02 Damn, Head. Chill lol
david is missed
jupiramaster when he was leaner he was able to do those fast fills and quick snare hits. When after his wrist injury and bulking up slowed him down.
I think even if David was in the band now, it still wouldn't be the same. These early years this band was fucking amazing. They captured lightning in a bottle and the magic just doesn't last forever. Especially with a band like this that's so aggressive and emotional in their performances.
Yes, he passed away too soon.

😂
Fucking great! One of the best shows I have ever been to was KoRn and Sugar Ray at the Hollywood Palladium in Dec. 1995. Jonathan never said a word between songs. Cheers.
They haven’t any pedal effect at the time... pure gold 👍🏻
,1996 beats any day of the 2000's..
EL VERDADERO KORN NUNCA MÁS QUE LASTIMA!!!
Escuchaste the serenity of surfaring o the nothing de sus mejores álbumes
@@joshuaromero8993 esos álbumes no se comparan en nada con lo que hicieron en los 90s, Korn ya solo vive de lo que algunas vez fueron en esos años
When those bagpipes came out, I think that crowd was ready to go to war!!
They did, and that is why the video cut off. That gave way to the song Dead Bodies Everywhere...
@@LostCause36 wrong. This is from 1996. Dead bodies everywhere wasn't even a song yet. The bagpipes lead into chutes and ladders.
I love KoRn!
Head! omg just 😍😍😍 still in 2017!
Wow, great crowd
That pimp walk out at 1:54 😍🔥
Amazing show!
Just think how much fun that audience would be having if they were standing still watching the gig through their phones.
Good god literally thousands of people have said this exact same thing. You aren't clever
Met these guys 1995/7/9. Great guys.
Musik favorit saya...thank's korn
Them security guards at the fence must be having a “holy shit” moment seeing that crowd lol
was there in the mosh pit we were all pissed off they didnt play more songs. mosh pit was chaos!
adamvpiper I’ve heard that there’s hardly any mosh pits happening at korn concerts now 😔
@@vikto_9313 not just in korn`s concerts... Unfortunately everybody uses their stupid smartphones instead of just enjoy the music
You are fucking awesome! You made my night with these old school videos!
già iniziare con BLIND e fantastico

2. Ball Tounge/Lodi Dodi 4:57
3. Divine 6:49
4. Chi 9:42
5. Low Rider 12:53
6. Shoots and Ladders (cut) 13:50
My kids now ask me about the 90's...and say that when i was 16-25 the music was amazing. Lol they know!
thanks a lot!
Nice glad to see this
I miss seeing Head doing back up vocals. Seen KoRn live 5 times last time being in 2016 and he never touches a mic on stage with KoRn anymore.
He's doing them a bunch now
@@Nicholas-Santiago
You’re right. I seen a recent live clip of Ball Tongue and Head was back on the mic!
I was there! 🥰
so lucky (your a milf now by the way)
OMFG!!!
Dave Silveria is an insanely good drummer
"100% unedited video footage"
Well, it is, the cameraman probably paused the recording to save tape. Was a bit different back then for hobbyists, no huge flashdrives to contain endless amounts of digital media, it was a limited tape in a fat video camera.
David fits this band more than Ray ever can.
I saw them live on tour for their first album. Once opening for 311 in Hollywood & again opening for Sick Of It All ion San Diego. So i'm pretty special, right?
my mic is fucked
David was a tank
So you only like 2 albums?
I'd say they're great up until 2002.
ah the cuts ruin it!!
Yep. Unwatchable.
How did we go from this master piece..to bad bunny..send me back to the 90s forever...
07:45 (pause here) Can someone explain me this?
Never does he have a stunt double.
Will the real David Silveria please stand up
His little brother
Probably his brother or his techy which can be one good friend. A bunch of people in the 90s had that hairstyle
ain’t the same without david and fieldy man😢 that’s coming from a huge KoRn fan
Couldn’t agree more. I couldn’t even bring myself to see them without fieldy.
Rich's band JWT was pretty sick
They is a 12yr old me somewhere towards the back with my uncle
🙏💙
This festival became into download festival like in 2000 or some shit
Was this the live debut for chi and lowrider?
How is this unedited when many songs are cut?
All bounce
Seriously,NO EDIT please!
cameraman had 1 fucking job, capture Jon's headbang after "Are you ready!"...
Zlaty casy!!!!!
2:18 fieldy jumps
anyone else wonder if they have spine problems today?
I hate the 2011 you for jumpcutting the bits.
Back when Korn was good
Fuck up Paul.
Go somewhere else.
So true, they turned to shit after life is peachy
6:25 That! Is how KoRn should sound! Not all this fucking dubstep shit they have now!
As sick as he band sounds, JD kinda sounded like shit live in the beginning
When korn was korn and not the Ray look at my drum fill session
Shut up
@@frshtlldthfreshtilldeath9670 🤡🤡🤡🤣🤣🤣
Untouchables was the last good Korn album.
I personally think issues was there last really good talented album but untouchables is a very good and underrated album I even liked TALITM but I think I stopped listening to them around 2002 when untouchables came out, the nothing is actually really good I enjoyed it
I needs me some cell phones held high! 📱
This is and always be the real Korn, the "1994-to-1997". The dubstep crap Korn is just shit...
Ramón Alvarez they list it after life is peachy
The dubstep korn didn’t come until 2010 or something
The cameraman must have had his hand in the meth jar prior to filming. My 90 year old nervous shaking papaw could've done a better job.
