they aren't naturally slim and don't have naturally flawless skin Xd i mean of course there are some naturally slim koreans with flawless skin but just like there are people like this everywhere else. if you take a korean living in usa since birth that has a lifestyle like other americans and uses the products that americans use and korean living in korea there would be a big difference in their body and skin. I think not having to shave also make your body's condition better and since laser hair removal is sooo cheap in korea they just get it and never irritate their bodies with razors or wax
This is such a false stereotype that you need to get OUT of your head!! Ridiculous. Naturally slim??? Humans in general are naturally slim, until you eat too much and stop exercising. Just like Koreans who are humans too. Flawless skin? No. Korean’s just actually care about their skin and appearance, even males. But yes, Koreans do get acne, discoloration, irritation and every other skin problem you get. She also very clearly said that it’s 70-80% true Koreans sweat less and that it varies per person which could also be true about any race.

Vixa yeah! Whenever the male idols are really sweaty all of the comments are like “omg they look so sexy when sweating” and then I watched a fan cam of momo from twice and all the comments were saying about her sweating too much
True! They act like women shouldnt sweat. But one thing that could come into play is that males have harder choreo = more sweat, which for some reason girls like??
Gemma_dancer I’m perfectly fine with girl idols sweating, if anything it makes them look sexy just like a guy idol would. But now that you’ve mentioned it, I’ve never seen a girl idol sweat.
@@soobeanie I would love to make this Q more specific... Like my common sense says that if one is not eating properly (We all heard about those kpop diets...) and not sleeping for 8-9 hours a day( we all heard stories from trainees days) & is always wearing heavy makeup, *they're skin will get worse*... How come those idols, even trainees can have such a perfect skin? Considering their only carbs diets (talking about those sweet potato and apple diets.. )or sleeping for 4 hours a day. *Is it common to take a lot of supplements? Also how often they go for skin treatments?* Sorry for long Q but I'm really curious! Also thank you sooo much for always being so super honest with us! LOVE those IDOL INSIDER series
A lot of idols have acne and pimples actually, they just simply cover with it makeup and under extreme bright stage lightings, it doesn’t show much. Also most of fansites touch up every single photo before posting so their idols can look flawless.
The key thing would be to not wear make-up when not in the public eye. The ironic thing about make-up is that people use it to cover spots/acne, but using make-up causes spots/acne. This is due to the pores being clogged and comedogenic products also cause dry skin. They will also be using non-comedogenic products to help. This is also the reason why you hardly see any men (after the greasy adolescent stage) get a lot of spots. Most men (in the UK at least), don't specifically wash their face, don't moisturise and their faces will come into contact with more dirt (when considering jobs), yet they don't get spots. This is simply due to their skin having no extra layer on top.
Hi! Yay, more Idol Insider! I heard several times how during promotions idols will sleep at most 2-3hs if any at all. At the same time they have to be lively for performing and tv appearances, fan interactions etc... Probably the reason why some idols occasionally will collapse (on stage or not). How bout one episode about dealing with lack of sleep and tiresomeness?
@@lunalluna9401 you're right, it isn't...I didn't thought about the fact that the person asking would like to know this to use it for themselfes, sorry about that ^^
hey! Loved this. I've used Driclor the majority of my adult life like....10 years +! then one day....it just stopped working! But when it did work, it was amazing! despite the slight tingle it gives on your armpits haha
-please i want to know more about fanservice ,like they hate it or not? -is that true that idols love their fans so much or just acting ?( cause personally i can't love someone without seing him) -do idols know about ships or bromance which fans create ? and what is their reaction ?or is that their plan to be more popular or for fanservice?
djeribi rania From my perspective, fan services to an extent is okay for idols. Some things demanded by show MCs that may be too intimate for male idols who are basically bros with one another may make them uncomfortable, but reactions can be repressed or kind of subtle (you can still sense it though). And yes idols do know about bromance/ships, some (once) read fanfics for fun as well. Most companies want idols to do skinship because fans love it. Skinship can be awkward if it is forced but it can also happen naturally because some are really close (e.g. BTS).
Grey Moon I just rmbrd Jin shouting at the female mc who told him to kiss tae on the cheek cos viewers wanted it lmaooo 'SO WHAT IF THEY WANT IT!? DOES THAT MEAN I SHOULD DO EVERYTHING OTHERS WANT!?! AAAAAAGHHHH!!!'' legit I love that jin doesn't take ANYONES shit he even fights his own company! He's a blessing
i'm sure that most idols truly appreciate their fans, i mean, we're their main source of income and support right? so probably not like romantic love, just like familial or gratuitous love :)
@@lilacbuni Yeah I fucking died at that moment lmao he was right though. If I recall correctly, when BTS debuted, Jin and Namjoon were kinda *expected* to hug in a fan meeting and they did but both of them looked so fucking awkward. But when they do vlive, BTS can be naturally affectionate and touchy-feely with each other and I appreciate moments like those much more than fan services.
most of them sleep in between schedules, dress rooms, plane rides, etc. some even catch sleep while they get their hair and makeup done in shops they also drink those energy drinks and fruit extracts to boost their energy but that really isn't much if you look at it in the long run :/
what do you think they do when they have a day off? they sleep. a lot of idols say that when they are asked about their free time. but since they don't have many days off they sleep in cars, planes, while having their makeup and hair done etc. eventually they faint you know. because even caffeine and energy shakes can't make up for hours of dancing/working without sleep. 🤷🏼♀️

It comes with perks too :)
a lot of predebut photos are from idols were young kids, so they were more likely to be playing outside after school, outdoor gym class, doing outdoor activities, etc. also idols start having to take care of their skin in preparation for debut so their companies are likely to be strict on their sun exposure. in my experience kids also just don't really care about taking care of their skin? but all of this is in addition to of course potential skin bleaching, whitening lotion, foundation that is too pale
Nearly 100% of Koreans have a mutation on the ABCC11 gene. This gene controls whether or not your BO will stink a lot or not. The vast majority of Koreans have this mutation/recessive allele trait (I read that around 0.006 percent of Koreans have noticeable BO smell, so .994 don’t have the stronger BO smell), so most Koreans don’t really use deodorant. My mom told me she and her friends never used deodorant (even in high school), and only one girl actually used it. Other East Asians (specifically Chinese and Japanese from what I remember) have the same mutation as well, BUT Korea is at nearly 100% verses the 70-90% in China and Japan. I’m not completely sure why it’s almost all Korean population that has this mutation. As for Europeans, I think it was only 2% of the population that has this mutation as well. I’m only referring to underarm BO, though this might apply to other areas of the body as well. I hope that kind of explains why some of the idols you worked with don’t use deodorant. You might not need it as well, as long as your not in the 0.006 percent of Koreans with the strong BO.
popcorn pop Mm, nope. Definitely genes. My school is white and black dominated and they definitely smell more than the boys at my church after sweating and stuff (I go to a Korean dominated church).
Just look up the ABCC11 gene. Most Koreans lack this gene. This gene is what causes the bacteria in our clothes and on our body to release that horrible BO smell. The bacteria is still present on Koreans, and it is still munching away on their sweat but due to the gene not being present, the bi-product does not smell like the BO we have all come to hate. To know if you also luckily have this mutation simply check your ear wax. If your ear wax is sticky and gross then you're going to stink when you sweat (I do a lot of exercise and I know your pain 😭). If your ear wax is dry and more like dandruff then yippy, you've hit the jackpot and you can throw out those deodrants. This is also the reason why in east-asian languages the literal translations for ear wax is ear dust. Here's the percentages (can't remember the source but these were roughly the figures): Koreans: 99% Japanese: 70% Chinese: 65% South-East Asia: 60% Europeans: 2% Personal theory time Quick question for those who lack the gene: Do you get itchy ears? The purpose of ear wax isn't just to clean your ears by collecting dirt, but a very important purpose is to prevent your inner ear from getting itchy. The wet wax does this beautifully, but does the dust? I'm asking this because I've seen plenty of asians (mainly men) just casually have a little wiggle in their ear with their finger. I've never in my life seen a British person do this, because I myself have never had an itchy ear (apart from when something large is actually in there, like a hair or something). P.s. would 100% take the no BO for occasional itchy ears any day of the week.
OMG YES! MY EARS ARE SO DRY they do get itchy. I've currently not bathe in 3 days and I had dance practice yesterday, but till now, my armpits don't stink. The sweat from yesterday's dance is gone since I wiped it away last night before I slept. 😮😮😮
Just to add some more interesting biology. Evolutionary traits are ones that help a species to better adapt to their environment. However, sometimes sexual selection is the key, and the ABCC11 gene is a perfect examply of this. Another example of this, in mongoloids, is how neotenous features are much more present when compared to other races. Who would you rather mate with? The stinking older looking person, or non-stinking younger looking person. You're probably wondering why this happened mainly only happened to East-Asians. The main theory is that their cold environment during the ice age caused them to retreat to caves and imagine a bunch of people huddling together to keep warm, it's gonna get smelly. Another feature that is present among East-asians is the less amount of facial and body hair. When huddling together, wearing multiples layers, the hair became more of a hindrance as it just caused the person to collect more dirt and became unhygenic. Therefore, it became unnecessary to keep them warm anymore (due to multiple layers of clothing), it caused them to stink, and they were also more likely to catch a disease. The hairy East-Asians would have died off due to being both, more likely to die, and less desirably sexually. If you're wondering why this didn't happen to the Europeans in north Europe, I believe it is due to the fact that they emigrated south to the Mediterranean coast, when it started to get a bit nippy. Whilst the East-Asians decided to stick it out where they were. And the part that always make me laugh, is how some Mongoloids thought, "it's a bit cold here, lets head further north". Then they eventually crossed the Bering Straight, and boom, then you've got the Native Americans, Aztecs, Mayans, etc...
I've read of Idol groups working their schedules and no one thinking to give them any food all day. Did you ever have any problems getting something to eat in this way?
Lolll sometimes you so busy to eat cause its back to back.. it is true and by the end of the day there are many times we eat your first meal. I used to always have a little snack in my bag tho for days like this.
Do you have any insight on homosexuality among kpop idols? I recently watched a video about 나쁜 손, and even though I know among female idols, naughty hands are the result of just being both playful and really close, I couldn't help but wonder if there were some certified lesbians in the idol world. Also, I frequently see/hear westerners refer to male idols as homosexuals. While I'm sure this has more to do with westerners and asians having very different definitions of masculinity, statistically speaking there must be more than a few gay males in kpop. What have you witnessed and are you willing to share?
Mmmm I have witnessed some cases but.. I just dont know if I can be vocal about it has it has never happened to me. It would be a video I would need to be very careful talking about.
Of course there are but outing them is wrong. If someone decides to come out they will and it’s their choice to make. I heard one insider who claimed up to 40% of all male idols are gay or bisexual. It was on UA-cam for a while but it got taken down due to legal issues. Why do so many people finding it shocking that gay people don’t just live in America? There are a few who have come out in the Kpop world and can easily be googled. While several Asian countries accept homosexuality Korea isn’t one of them.
Hi soobeanie unnie can u pls make a video on that whitening dark parts whitening treatment dermatologist what idols do how they so have lighten body colour on dark place like knee elbows etc pls
Fun Fact: So Driclor or whats more common in the U.S is Drysol is used for people who have excessive sweating and is something that doctors recommend you but it was interesting that kpop stars use it as well. Also, when using Drysol you shouldn't put it on over twice or three times on a same spot because your armpits can have a tingle/burning sensation which is really uncomfortable.
Ok so, I’ve been using Driclor since before I watched this and as someone who sweats excessively with minimal temperature increase I can confirm, that it is MAGICAL. Like the difference was immediate. 100/10. Even better now that it’s K-Pop approved!!
I really want to see the one to find your perfect company cause I really need that, I've been stressing about it even though there is barely a chance for me to be accepted and it's like months away but still I can still dream and try to follow it💕💞

Hello! Really insightful video :) I’m curious about haircare. Idols always look like their hair is freshly washed - but do you really wash your hair everyday, on top of the styling and constant dyeing? :o do you guys have hair care routines that you need to keep up with? Thank you! :D
If you have schedule everyday. Yes. You can get it washed at the salon too if too lazy LOL mmmmm im sure there might be some people who dont but usually they wash it everyday if they have schedule
the panty liner thing is actually very well known in the fashion industry. i saw some interviews where celebrities said that they use them, because it's 1. convenient and 2. the more affordable option. depending on your arm pit, you can use just two per arm and your good to go. the only thing i would "worry" about is that it might show (the outlines of the panty liner) through you clothes when you wear something thin like a blouse.
I've tried it too and when I was sweating like crazy it nearly fell out 😂😂 i had to rush into the bathroom to remove it or else it would be sooo embarrassing lol 😂
I don't know if you wear glasses/contacts or dance , but they are extremely uncomfortable when you have to perform. Glasses smear your makeup, fall and don't really look as nice on stage and contact lenses dry out your eyes a lot. That isn't really a problem in your everyday life but when one has to perform at an event they have to wear them the whole day from like 6-7 am until late at night sometimes. And you can also perform without glasses (which i usually do) but when you do that, especially if you have worse eyesight, you are practically blind :D and since there are lights all around you you might get a little dizzy as well. So LASIK would be really helpful to avoid all of these unpleasant situations. I myself have thought about getting it since it can only improve your quality of life and make everything easier. 👌🏻
I was wondering this too. Wearing colored or circle lenses is almost a given. But if you're as blind as I am, it's nearly impossible to get them in your perscription. I imagine they just get you lasik first thing first.
Please talk about how idol date while being idols, cause we know there's something in their contracts that say that they can't date, but I mean, idols are also human beings and you already mentioned that you dated while you was an idol and also hyuna did for a long time before making it public, and there's the jennie and kai's case ... Whithout mentioning the other examples that we don't know or we just imagine ...
soobeanie_ aand also, about that, i was also wondering if relationships between idols were known to other idols ? It can sound pretty dumb lol but like is it just like high school where everyone talk about everyone and there are rumors etc ? ^^ i always thought this kind of stuff that’s obviously a secret to common public knowledge, might be just normal conversation topics amongst kpop idols 🤔
can you talk about homosexuality in the industry? how accepted is it? how common is it? are there some idols that everyone knows are gay? do people just talk on the down low or are they judged? do companies specifically prohibit homosexual behaviour or forbid idols from publicly endorsing it? ((hope you would provide some insight on it as i think this is an important topic but i hope you don’t out anyone! thanks~))
Thank you! Kudos to you for telling us all these little secrets. I bought driclor yesterday, and it definetely did work!!! And also thanks for staying true to all of us :D. The videos are interesting and helpful so keep up the good work uwu 💕💕
Thank you so much for this video. As a foreigner who lived in Japan and currently living in Korea I’m always disappointed by my lack of fashion choices in the summer. Everything has to be sleeveless or black or really loose fitting to hide my sweaty armpits lol. I will be trying the panty-liner trick this summer and hopefully I can wear more variety of styles.
@@jamie7645 nah ... Then why Korean skin care is so popular among all Asia ? Idols do have flawless skin and about irene she is beautiful without makeup too I saw her bare face 😂 some might don't have clear skin but majority have even skin .
I love how realistic the tips you gave are. These are products I know myself as a person with hyperhidrosis (I sweat too much) and you also mentioned botox
I grew up in canada and when I went to korea to work for a korean company, I noticed my korean counterparts sweat alot less. But what was weird, was that after living there for several years, I sweat a lot less as well. I think I acclimatized to the weather and the food I ate had alot to do with it (spicy foods, lot less carbs, processed foods, soda and sugar).
I really like this series! It's really informative and interesting. Most other videos don't go into detail very much. These on the other hand really answer the things I'm wondering about. 💪🏽Keep up the good work!👍🏽
I actually had to tell my Korean friend about how most Koreans (YES KOREANS SWEAT) don’t have the bacteria that causes sweat to smell bad and so they don’t need deodorant, and she had no idea because she grew up here and everyone wears deodorant. She tried it out and realized she never needed deodorant in the first place and now she doesn’t wear it anymore! Ugh lucky bitch lol
The thing with aluminum chloride is that you won’t sweat on the spots where you applied it, but you will actually sweat more on the spots where you didn’t apply it
The staff are MacGyvering up in here.😄 Quick fixes are a must in the entertainment industry. The panty liner hack is pretty common for sweat. It sucks that they're aren't invisble ones so you could put one on a see through shirt and, say, you aren't going to wear a coat. That'd be nice.😥 Excellent video!😄💙
I've seen a boy group using some kind of spray in a big bottle that sprays some weird half white spray? Did anyone see somethig like this also? I think they use it to cool down.
Could you talk about idols dying their hair so much, how much time it takes, how often it’s redone, what is done for damage, and do the boys get hair plugs as they lose their hair line? The chemical burn, and cancer risk with so many treatment has been found linked to cancer, could u discuss?
I use sure anti perspirant to stop my sweat. I'm a dancer, and I sweat way more than my group. It takes two days to work, and works like a charm!! 💜 I used to use panty liners and full on sanitary towels when I go to school, but because I sweat so much and I move around alot, the sweat shows through. Also my school has a light blue shirt for uniform and a navy jumper so there's no hiding it 😭😂
kpop ff yes. 😲 if that is a 1 time thing no. Like if someone rolled around in dirty & mud 😝 then washed their hair but didn't feel clean the first time so they wash it again. 😄 If you do that constantly yes.
You won’t smell if you don’t sweat, smell is a combination of sweat, bacteria and oxygen. I’m living in humid and super hot country a whole year but don’t sweat much, I used to be jealous my friends that sweat a lot, just think it’s cool 😂 Looking forward to see next clip !
This is what I've been waiting for and please make video why other Kpop Idols is very white and fair but if you remove all the make-up and stuff they're a little bit tan.
How idol set their hair so perfect? their hair look so smooth even it set with hairspray. Please tell the name of product what they use to set the hair 🙏
That was very interesting, thank you for that great video! :) I have tried the pantyliner trick before when I had a presentation at work and it definitely worked, but the whole time I was super scared the glue would come off and the pantyliner would drop out of my shirt lol, don't know how I'd explain that 😅
The US equivalent of Driclor (antiperspirant) is called, "Certain Dri". It can be found over-the-counter (without prescription) in most US drug stores like CVS and Walgreens. But if you have sensitive skin, the product may cause irritation.
I've been using the pantyliner hack for like 6 years already, I found it out by myself. You can just use the thin ones, not the regular period pads, you can also cut one in half and use for both armpits.
here in Pakistan call there are these clear stones u get called fithkari . They are mostly used by people in villages to stop ur armpits from smelling bad and it actually works. It also helps with lightening dark arm pits.
A person's body odor depends on the food they eat, and in Asian countries, the food tends to be lighter and healthier with more fresh vegetables rather than processed foods. Even if they are store bought and ready made, the ingredients are pretty straight forward. America uses foods that use very strong smelling vegetables like onions and garlic heavier with a more meat based diet that can change the a person's body odor.
ooooh my god i used the panty liner thing a LOT when i was in band and such, especially for band camp in the summer so i wouldnt have massive sweat stains in my sleeves and it really does work, im glad to see that its sort of. i guess widespread? i really dont remember where i learned about it myself, but that trick is a real lifesaver
I really want to know.. does kpop idols get paid? And do they really have to pay debts from their company? 🤔 because people says after debuting / making a come back kpop idols need to pay.. 🤨 Probably this is too PRIVATE.. But i hope you make a video for this ❤️ btw i love ur videos!
Some bigger companies like SM don't require idols to repay their trainee fees but I would say most smaller companies do. This fee is to repay for the investments made on them as trainees for singing/dancing/acting/language/etiquette lessons, but also pays for album production, stylists, choreo, etc. Its really hard for less popular groups to to pay off this debt because you technically accumulate debt even after debut. Example girls day and aoa at their peak were really popular in korea, but it still took them years to pay off their debt because its added onto. You have to break even before you really start making money. Idols typically get paid as a group after their debt is cleared, but because each member of a group as an individual contract with different terms the conditions may vary. An example would be if one member of a group was more popular like Suzy or Yoona and got a lot of solo acting jobs or commercial deals they may get to keep that and not have to split it with their members. Other companies will pay you but still make you pay back the debt which means it'll take longer for you to pay off. Oh also composers and rappers in groups who write lyrics get to keep their own portion of the royalties which is seperate. Sorry that was a really long explanation but essentially its different for each group and company. Some get paid from the start and others never make any money while they're an idol. It just really depends. I hope this was somewhat helpful
I find it a bit strange that you’d need a prescription for the roller. Majority of deodorant in the US contain aluminum chloride- They’re labeled at “Anti-Perspirant” so you don’t sweat. Rather than supposed metal absorption, some argue by using these products we prevent our bodies from releasing the toxins. Since we’re blocking our sweat glands from working properly, the toxins build up. Some even allege that this can lead to cancer etc. There isn’t a whole lot of research on it though. So far it’s still considered safe, but I think because people are worried a lot of companies been marketing “aluminum-free” deodorants... which is funny because unless its specifically meant to be an “anti-perspirant” it should already be aluminum free.
If you be mindful of the intensity and movements that you exudes during every activity, you might likely get to control your sweat glands depending on the situation your having.
I think aluminum chloride is used very commonly in Asian countries. In the Philippines, we call it "tawas" and we use it in powder form and is actually a good alternative for deodorant.
I was asking, how idols do for don't have any scars in their body, because everyone fall (when you're child for example) and keep scars but i didn't see any idols with scars so... ^^ (sorry my english is bad)
I've Botox under my armpits and its great! I sweated a lot and it had such an impact on my daily life - it was horrible. Before Botox I still wore a sweater in the summer just to hide how much I sweat and now.... now I can wear whatever I want :D
Oh my, this is an inappropriate thing to ask ... think about if this happening to you, you were asked how you lost your virginity? The key thing would be to not wear make-up when not in the public eye. The ironic thing about make-up is that people use it to cover spots/acne, but using make-up causes spots/acne.

-do idols know about ships or bromance which fans create ? and what is their reaction ?or is that their plan to be more popular or for fanservice?
djeribi rania From my perspective, fan services to an extent is okay for idols. BTS).
Im pretty sure idols know all the things about ships, bromance on the internet

i'm sure that most idols truly appreciate their fans, i mean, we're their main source of income and support right? so probably not like romantic love, just like familial or gratuitous love :)
@@lilacbuni Yeah I fucking died at that moment lmao he was right though. If I recall correctly, when BTS debuted, Jin and Namjoon were kinda *expected* to hug in a fan meeting and they did but both of them looked so fucking awkward. How do idols deal with exhaustion? Their schedules are so intense.
DreamUntilDark they don’t, they just faint onstage sometimes which is sad
most of them sleep in between schedules, dress rooms, plane rides, etc. some even catch sleep while they get their hair and makeup done in shops they also drink those energy drinks and fruit extracts to boost their energy but that really isn't much if you look at it in the long run :/
It's just like how students deal with too much quizzes/tests and projects with deadly due date or a person who is very very very busy at work
they don't.
what do you think they do when they have a day off? they sleep. a lot of idols say that when they are asked about their free time. but since they don't have many days off they sleep in cars, planes, while having their makeup and hair done etc. eventually they faint you know. because even caffeine and energy shakes can't make up for hours of dancing/working without sleep. 🤷🏼♀️

White washing maybe?
I’ve heard some idols bleach their skin
a lot of predebut photos are from idols were young kids, so they were more likely to be playing outside after school, outdoor gym class, doing outdoor activities, etc. also idols start having to take care of their skin in preparation for debut so their companies are likely to be strict on their sun exposure. in my experience kids also just don't really care about taking care of their skin? but all of this is in addition to of course potential skin bleaching, whitening lotion, foundation that is too pale

Yuna53421 wow where did you get these numbers from ? :)
or maybe everyone got so use to bo that noone can smell it anymore lol
lmao, how did they come up with that number, did scientists go around sniffing armpits throughout korea xD
hyung joon I’ve searched around the Internet and I believe the percentages were from a British University
popcorn pop Mm, nope.
Here's the percentages (can't remember the source but these were roughly the figures):
Koreans: 99%
Japanese: 70%
Chinese: 65%
South-East Asia: 60%
Europeans: 2%
Personal theory time
Quick question for those who lack the gene: Do you get itchy ears?
The purpose of ear wax isn't just to clean your ears by collecting dirt, but a very important purpose is to prevent your inner ear from getting itchy. The wet wax does this beautifully, but does the dust?
I'm asking this because I've seen plenty of asians (mainly men) just casually have a little wiggle in their ear with their finger. I've never in my life seen a British person do this, because I myself have never had an itchy ear (apart from when something large is actually in there, like a hair or something).
P.s. would 100% take the no BO for occasional itchy ears any day of the week.
Goddamit those lucky bastards.
OMG YES! MY EARS ARE SO DRY they do get itchy. I've currently not bathe in 3 days and I had dance practice yesterday, but till now, my armpits don't stink. The sweat from yesterday's dance is gone since I wiped it away last night before I slept. 😮😮😮
Candle Light if I didn't shower for 3 days I'd smell like a homeless man!
U Wot M8? That’s weird i have a friend who is Chinese, he is the sweatiest person i know and his sweat smells pretty bad yet his earwax is dry
I've read of Idol groups working their schedules and no one thinking to give them any food all day. Did you ever have any problems getting something to eat in this way?

Do you have any insight on homosexuality among kpop idols? I recently watched a video about 나쁜 손, and even though I know among female idols, naughty hands are the result of just being both playful and really close, I couldn't help but wonder if there were some certified lesbians in the idol world. Also, I frequently see/hear westerners refer to male idols as homosexuals. While I'm sure this has more to do with westerners and asians having very different definitions of masculinity, statistically speaking there must be more than a few gay males in kpop. What have you witnessed and are you willing to share?

It was on UA-cam for a while but it got taken down due to legal issues. Why do so many people finding it shocking that gay people don’t just live in America? There are a few who have come out in the Kpop world and can easily be googled. While several Asian countries accept homosexuality Korea isn’t one of them.

@@soobeanie is it twice a day?
Alice K Some idols don’t wash their hair daily because of the hair color they have. But sometimes they usually do due to constant sweating
The real question is; How do they deal with runny nose?
the panty liner thing is actually very well known in the fashion industry. i saw some interviews where celebrities said that they use them, because it's 1. convenient and 2. the more affordable option.
depending on your arm pit, you can use just two per arm and your good to go. the only thing i would "worry" about is that it might show (the outlines of the panty liner) through you clothes when you wear something thin like a blouse.
I've tried it too and when I was sweating like crazy it nearly fell out 😂😂 i had to rush into the bathroom to remove it or else it would be sooo embarrassing lol 😂
Then they properly used that aluminum stick to stop the sweating and wear the pads for the clothes they can wear
Speaking on behalf of 3.5B guys - we’re ok with messy stage hair & glistening skin. The Yonce dance challenge for example was dope.
I wanna ask. Do every idol have to wear lenses even they didnt want to? And why does some idols go under lasik surgery?
Nad Azman because they don’t want the hassle of having to put in contacts or wear glasses
@@allyyd.7877 i think they mean coloured/circle lenses

kpop ff yes. 😲 if that is a 1 time thing no. Like if someone rolled around in dirty & mud 😝 then washed their hair but didn't feel clean the first time so they wash it again. 😄 If you do that constantly yes.
showering in general is. it can make your skin become very sensitive meaning youre more vulnerable to sicknesses and skin diseases. hope that helps.
Well if you dance, you're gonna sweat a LOT and ur hair is going to be more oily and stinky quickly (also dandruff)

Probably this is too PRIVATE.. But i hope you make a video for this ❤️ btw i love ur videos!
Laurencia Nathania Obviously they get paid🤷🏻♀️
I thought they didn't sweat bcz there is an air conditioner 😂
They be performin outdoors too ya know.....
If you be mindful of the intensity and movements that you exudes during every activity, you might likely get to control your sweat glands depending on the situation your having.
Do idols have a good amount of food? I mean do they eat well? I concern about their losing weight and looking kinda underweight.
Mmmmmm everyone has their own way of dieting and being honest sometimes those ways of dieting arent the most healthy:(
Duh that a lot of them are starving od eating once a day and workout a lot and then look like skeletons or collapse on stage
Yeah .... i also wonder how they don't hv scar ....
Hum no, not everyone have scars .. I don’t have any.
I’m guessing they cover it up with makeup if it’s very big and visible. But I don’t think many idols have big/visible scars (?)
@@Mibs-Mibby yes, probably.. ^^
@@Solip_i oh, okay :o
I've Botox under my armpits and its great! I sweated a lot and it had such an impact on my daily life - it was horrible. Before Botox I still wore a sweater in the summer just to hide how much I sweat and now.... now I can wear whatever I want :D
Does it have side effects or something? And how much it costs?
First ❤️❤️❤️
Aww thanks love
Idol insider is so good tbh love it 💓
I might sound weird but what about idols losing their virginities and stuff? It might be awkward but it's something I always wondered about 😅😅
Sana’s Chijeu Kimbap yes same!!
Yeah
I think that topic is something I cant speak for on. everyone will be different~
Oh my, this is an inappropriate thing to ask ... think about if this happening to you, you were asked how you lost your virginity? Do you want to tell that story to your close friends, your siblings or even your parents? this very personal matter certainly will not be answered freely by many people. If it's not a virgin anymore, other people don't need to know, right? #respectidolsprivacy #respectpeoplesprivacy
how could she talk about that lmao that's not directly related to being an idol and is pretty specific to each person, shes here to give us inside information on the idol industry, not to spill some tea about who your oppa is sleeping with ksjsdj
I like the changing the undershirts often. I'll try this at work thanks.
How about idols dancing in heels? Or idols who want to produce music but can't because their company says no? Orrrrrr do idols get any type of vacation?
HEELS.. its always gonna be a fight with those :( mmmmmm if the company cant provide and some idols want to do some will try to do it by themselves and teach themselves. And yes but it depends on your schedule if you can go on a vacation
@@soobeanie cool beans :)
omg, I use the pantyliner trick all the time, I'm glad more people know about this trick :)
