Hi, I’m one of those unusual people watching your videos. I work in Information Technology in NJ and have nothing to do with the trucking business. But I love the road scenes, music, and banter. I’m also looking forward to the truck tour of the new Volvo because it’s cool! Stay safe!
Hi to you both. You guys are so inspiring when you do your videos. Thank you both for all you do driving truck and bringing product to our stores. Wish I was working but with schools closed...well you know the story. Glad too you met up with your son. Take care and thumbs up.
Liked that shot of coming out of the eastbound Allegany tunnel on the Pa Turnpike. I have done that hundreds of times and it is always scary with a lot of snow on the road. Be safe
For insight about Volvo VNL 860, check JBG Travels who has been driving an early 2020 model for close to a year, initially he was going bonkers with the collision and side perimeter buzzer, but the issue was resolved after the first checkup at the Volvo Dealer. Bossman Trucker also working for the same company has the "Globetrotter" version of the same truck, the only difference is it has a lower bunk that converts to a table with seating on both sides of the Sleeper with access ladder to upper bunk that collapses against passenger side cabinet. Both rave about storage space and refrigerator.. Both trucks equipped with APU and have a proliferation of power outlets. From the factory governed at 65 mph, Johns truck changed to 68 mph, but reaches 72 mph with adaptive speed control. 🤠🇺🇸 Cheer's from Deer Park, Tx 🤠
We've got the 2020 Volvo also. The thing I hate about it is when the Bendix system goes off it turns the AM/FM/Satellite radio until the beeping goes off....also when backing up flip the "hill assist" switch off then you can back up normally.
When I drove the automatic was a dream and in the testing stage I would have loved one of these new autos! Be safe out and I use to do Jersey all the time, and still hate anything to do with Jersey!
Volvo will be a 13 liter, they used to have 16 liters as well but they dont any more for the US, maybe going away here too, not sure. And a 12 speed iShift auto... Those new Volvo's look amazing, you lucky! ;) And probably gonna be crazy comfortable too! :) Excited to see what you think of it later on! :) Be safe guys!
Great video Stay safe
