Wow...I'm not having the problems you do! I love this system. It only takes two minutes to dry and its perfect. I redo every Sunday because I enjoy changing the color. I agree with Sistaco that you might be applying it incorrectly. Even if you know well how to use other systems, there is always a learning curve. The first two or three times I used it, I put it on way to thick and I thought that I was putting all the layers on thin. Now I know how thin you need to go and how to get the colors on evenly and smoothly. Once that is figured out, this is as good as a salon shellac manicure without the chemicals! It's a winner for me. I'm so sorry that you had a negative experience with such a good product. :(
It seems that everyone who doesn’t keep trying, or apply it wrong, too thick etc, they give terrible reviews, all because they use the product WRONG !!!! They say less is more, don’t put thick coats. Seems they don’t really listen or experiment…..oh well it’s there loss, but it annoys me they actually turn others off because they don’t use it correctly , trial and error, no one said it’s easy first up, everyone works out what works best for themselves…… makes me mad and sad. 😢
I've been using Sistaco for about a year and I was having great success with their system until the past few months. I was getting 10-14 days out of each manicure, but now, peeling has become an issue. I believe the problem is with their lamps. I've been using the upgraded 36W version and have spares, so I swapped the lamp, and at first, it helped, but now it's back to the same problem after only a handful of uses. I'm going to buy a non-Sistaco UV/LED lamp and see if that solves the problem because when this system works, it's great, and I really love it. The removal process is a pain, but if I can get 2 weeks from a manicure, it's well worth it.
I was on the fence about purchasing this product because it is quite expensive. I've seen afew other reviews that have the same issues with the product and their interactions with customer service was terrible and they were blocked from there fb site. It doesn't give me faith in using the product or dealing with the company. For most of my more expensive purchases, I will always find honest reviews for them. It's like my safety net. Thanks for the review. I've decided not to waste my money on this product.
I was a Ambassador and had Nails sore.. bleeding.. lifting.. from Allergic Reaction after months of using.. just happened. After complaining and company sent me the Sensitive Formulas of Base and Top Coats.. which I didn't use on my nails because of the damage already and the condition they were in. I did my toenails the same way as I had been with the same bottles I had.. since my toesnails had no problems. Same thing.. months after using and about my fourth pedicure..I changed my color and a few hours later..my toes were burning itchy redness and sore.. removed product immediately and the blackish blue color under my nailbed was there..same as it did my fingernails. Back to Dr.. Specialist. More meds.. and about a year for Nails to be normal. I asked Sistaco make customers aware of the possibility of Allergic Reactions to Some people. And lots of other emails..led to them blocking me from all Sistaco pages! That's why they have post pending on their sites.. won't Allow Bad Posts Towards Their Product.. protect the Money before Customers. I've sent a Product Review to Cosmetic Product Review USA..I have researched and I see some are banned in UK. On bottles of Products.. Design in Australia, Made in China.. what does that mean? Bottle.. Formula or Both made in China. And no guarantees..no money back..no returns. That's good customer service
@@suzanneduggam208I’m a beauty therapist and nail tech with 30+ years of experience so don’t tell me I don’t know how to prep nails or that my application was wrong. I don’t know what is wrong with the system but it only lasted 24hrs after which it looked a mess, just like this lady has shown in her review. I’m disgusted with this companies standards. It’s a con to say the manicure will last 2 weeks when it didn’t even last 24hrs!
In one of their promotional Videos, they mentioned that the base coat will not be completely set after the first 60 sec light exposure. It needs to still be a little soft so that the powder really bonds well with it. Maybe your extra ‘baking’ has prevented this and that’s why it’s not lasting for you. Just a thought 💭
Oh no! . We just got ours and haven’t had any issues yet. The instructions said 90 seconds for the base then 60 seconds for top coat. Keep the layers thin. So we did (my daughter and I) - nails were dry and the polish looked great. I’m hoping your review helped them make changes to the product as I’d like to be a longtime user of it but I’ll be on the lookout. Thanks for the honesty in your video. I’m glad we saw it!
Thank you sooo much for your genuinely honest review!! It is an expensive product considering, the rest of 'real' reviews are coming from affiliated people earning commission on every sale made through their 'real' reviews! Thanks chum, I'm super grateful I've not spent money I just can't afford just now on something that's basically advertising gone mad! 🙏
I was having the same experience as you with it then realised what I was doing wrong, you need to wash your finger nails with soapy water then buff gently your nails to give them a rough texture then apply a thin layer of base coat under the lamp then do the colour then a thin layer of top coat making sure to apply it on the edges of your nails also then did 2 minutes under the lamp for each hand and the nail colour has not peeled for 7 days now and still going strong whereas before I was having the same problems you are having
Hello and thank you for your tips; really appreciate your message and for visiting my channel. After the 3 failed attempts, I have not tried it again. But I assure you that I did all the washing and buffing of my hands/nails. Happy New Year!
First let me say thank you so much for your honesty, because you just saved me approximately $250.00 + dollars as I was about to purchase the deluxe package, an additional 3 polishes, and the magnifier. I too was very impressed with the “princess” like packaging!!! I was also impressed with several of their shades. Before I pressed the purchase button, I just knew I had to research this product. Second, I can tell that you have the experience of working with other products and you know what your doing. I’m very grateful that I came across your video and will continue to follow you because you are very honest and trustworthy. I really appreciate the time you put into this to help the rest of us not make a costly mistake! Thank you 😊
I used my good UV lamp and didn't have any issues. I looked at the little lamp they sell, not knowing it was different than the UV light that I have. I used my UV lamp with these products and had great success no flaking, chipping or melting. I'd say it probably is the lamp, sometimes they are defective & a bad batch. Customer service needs to address this.
I watched your review before I put my order in and you did make me think on for a while more but I had seen too many good reviews not to give it a chance. My kit arrived Friday and I straight away put it on following the instructions. Today is day three and it looks as good as when I put it on and I wear gloves all day in work which causes nail polish wear very quickly. So far Im very happy with the product and glad I bought it. Nails cured in 1 minute as you need a very very thin coat of base and top coat. Top coat I cured twice just to make sure I had cured all the way around including the back of the tips. Most people put on too much base and top coat at the start esp if they aren't used to doing their own manis. Oh and btw, the lamp you have is only 45sec with one click, you have to hold down the button to get the full 60 secs
@@IamMissMI think you’re putting the base coat, powder and top coat way too thick. Less is more, barely touch the nail with the powder it’s also important to put the base coat all over the nail or the powder won’t stick if there are spots without the base coat…but thin coat. ! There is no way if it’s used correctly it would take 2 hours to dry. This is all user error IMO….sorry. Cant be anything else, when no one else has this crazy drying for 2 HOURS !!!!! I think the problem and looking at your nails, in the first two especially, the powder looked way too thick. It’s better to do 2 THIN coats, never use any of it thickly.
As an honest reviewer myself I think reviews like this are incredibly helpful. I always seek out reviews prior to purchasing something as expensive as this. What I find interesting is the sheer volume of comments on here disagreeing with you from people who love the product. That is not typical and makes me think that Sistaco is behind it.... especially because of a few comments that said they were blocked when trying to leave an honest review on Facebook. There are so many shady business practices out there and I'm very concerned that this company is engaging in them. I was considering buying this for my daughter but have decided to pass.... not because of your review but because of the responses to your review which I think are an indication that Sistaco is trying to gaslight you. Thanks for taking time to put out such a thorough treatment of this!
Thank you Denise for taking time out to watch my video and commenting. I haven’t been on this platform for awhile and I just tried to ignore all the not so nice comments here. At the end of the day, I was telling the truth about my experience on this product and especially when they approached me, offered to pay me if I will try it again. I will not delete this video nor will I change my review. Thank you again and appreciate your time. Hopefully, I will hop on here again to make reviews.💐
@@PaulaCianciSoveralAaawww… thank you for taking time out to watch and be here in my humble channel. Appreciate you subscribing. Best regards from Sydney! 💐
I’m surprised you didn’t mention my biggest disappointment with this product which is the removal process. FYI, for the “classic” colors, the base coat shouldn’t be dry. Whereas for the “holo/metallic” colors you do want the base and top coats to be thoroughly dry… and it definitely takes several minutes for it to dry. But for me, it’s the removal process… it’s so lengthy and so frustrating… I hate it
Hello there and thank you for sharing your experience. I didn’t include the removal process anymore as I was frustrated already. I ended up going to the salon to get a proper nail pampering. 😊
Sorry for your experience. I’ve actually found the opposite. My first application was bumpy and not smooth after I added a second layer of top coat to extend my manicure. That was totally my error. I added too much product as when I tried my other hand it came out great. Hopefully you will try it again and possibly have a different result. It is very expensive to go to waste. Maybe the company asking for a video is so they can see your exact application and to see if there’s some small step you are missing? I find customer service in Australia is the worst I’ve experienced anywhere. 😬
I just got the system. So far I did my nails once without a hitch. It’s only been two days since I did it but other than my bad manicure for myself, I think it’s great. Waiting to see how long the product will last before I have to replace the color.
Boy i'm I glad to have watched this before dipping in. It truly is an expensive purchase, one that should have a good returns policy, in my opinion. It's a shame that they have such poor customer service, the need to go back on the drawing board...seriously, before they get sued. It hurts spending so much and not getting support. Sadly money talks when it comes to reviews, which to me is a sad thing because people rely on them hoping for honesty. For those who've genuinely had success with the product, good for you and thanks for sharing. I respect those who speak the truth about products they've been sent to review - that shows integrity and decency. Thanks for sharing your experience, you've saved many from making an expensive mistake.
My experience was quite different from yours. My polish dried after 1 minute not the 10 minutes you said. My polish lasted well on most fingers for over 2 weeks. After 1 week I redid 2 nails that had wear and tear but that was easy to do. I’m really happy.
I feel the same way. I spent 400$ new customer. When I first got my package one of the powders spilled out. There was powder everywhere. It took them three days to respond. N I can't get the powder to stick to my nails either. I washed my hands. I buffed my nails. I've used these powders before from a different company. These do that work nd I'm very disappointed
I’ve used the Sistaco system several times, it lasted without chips until I took it off about 8 days (wanted to redo). But I was putting it over tips that had a rough texture and I used 2 coats of the top coat, my regular LED/UV lamp plus I made sure to cap the ends with the top coat. My only complaint would be that some colors seem to lose their intensity after about a week.
@@IamMissMif you REALLY wanted to prove it wasn’t working, doing a video would have made them able to see where you’ve gone wrong….if you have eg too thick. If your not willing 19:06 to show then your process by video, then you can’t expect then to replace or refund…..sorry but it’s on you, they wanted to help BUT you didn’t want to try. I feel for ANYONE ATHAT listens to you and everyone else that are using it wrong or not willing to trial and error as to what suits you. You weren’t frank IMO. I have heard WAY TOO MSNY POSITIVE REVIEWS. I have purchased heaps of colours.
@@natmardon8721yes I would think so, she is using it all way too thick, it’s the only thing that makes sense….everyone else gets it to dry in a minute…she took 2 HOURS ….has to be her application…but not willing to send a video to customer service, if she had I’m sure they would have picked up where she was going wrong. Some people don’t really want to try and help themselves……sad, sad, sad ……
Just tried this product this week and I’m experiencing the same issues. It takes forever to dry. I’m finding it messy and a pain. Found exact same issue with sangria as well. I was hoping to love this 😢
Was thinking of this more lately and was wondering if you may have received a mislabelled base coat rather than a topcoat? Just a thought, would be happy for you to try my set if you are in Sydney (I’m not attached to Sistaco in any way I have just found the product really good!)
Hi Clare! Apologies for the late response. Thank you for watching & visiting my humble channel. You are too kind to offer me your set. Maybe, we can catch up when this pandemic is over. Stay safe especially now that we are on red zone. Happy New Year to you!
Thank you for this video. I was going to get the Ultimate deal with the 6 colors, but now I won't. I do have thick nails, but a couple of them tend to peel, which is a pain. I use the OPI nail envy nail strengthener, and it helps. I'm interested to know which nail strengthener you use. Thank you again. 😊
Perhaps it is a defective light! I had the same experience but I went to 2 minutes and that seemed better for me!! As far as the color coming off at the tops I had the same thing happen to me!! I was told to cap it which was applying the product under the tips of the nail! I will try that next time as this is just my third time using it!!
My experience is a little different. I find the product goes on too thinly and you can see right through it, but if you apply it thickly, it looks cheap. No matter which way I go, it wears by day 2. I simply can't get it to last out the time as specified by the company. Each time I try to ask a serious question, they delete my comments, or ignore me, or tell me it's my fault it's not working. I am following the instructions perfectly, so not sure how they can blame me ... after all, no one has shown me how to do it, just sent me a list of how to's - which I have followed without question. I love the shine, the shimmer, the colours (although some are identical and marketed as different colours in my honest opinion). I can't do it as quickly as they claim, it doesn't last as long as they claim, the colours look totally different to the website, but I'm still using it because I've invested in it. Maybe one day, they will send out the trained technician to teach me?! And yes, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I actually live in the same town it's sent from :)
Wow, thank you for your honest review. Sometimes it seems like reviewers just say positive things to get views. I have to say my experience has been quite the opposite though. I wonder if you had a faulty LED machine? I just got my kit, Oct 2021. Drying time is fine. 1 minute under the lights and they were touch dry. I think my top coat was a little too thick as I was keen for them to look like SNS too. It’s been a week and they haven’t chipped, even with dish washing. I’m thrilled because my nails were thin from a year of SNS too. The only drawback is I don’t always want a shimmery colour. I like a flat colour too. Maybe they will figure out a way to do flat colours one day. I think you are right about the price but once you have your set up, the price works out to be a lot cheaper than SNS. New colours are only $25 which isn’t far from a good quality low chemical polish. I was stuck with SNS on my nails after the lockdown and when they grew out I had huge gaps at the cuticles and then had to suffer through ordering acetone and trying to remove them, it was awful. I think I killed brain cells with the fumes! The Sistaco kits have different looking LED units now, they have more little side light on the support legs so maybe that’s the difference? Overall I love being independent of the salon application. Also, I feel that it’s less toxic. It’s so nice to have pretty hands again after months of looking at thin, scratchy stained nails. Thanks for your review. It gives everyone a different perspective. I really like your vlog style. Keep up the honesty and you are so beautiful and lovely to listen to!
Hi there and I really am overwhelmed with your kind words. Thank you for taking time out to watch my video (of which I got kinda bashed by a few for saying my piece). I reckoned that the LED light was defective. I haven’t used the product since. Glad to know that you’re enjoying this nail product though. Really glad to get connected with you. Stay safe and be blessed! 🌹
Thank you for the review. I was thinking of buying Sistaco for myself. All the reviews I have seen so far are positive but they all talk as though they ere being paid by the company. It's such a shame. Thanks again for a great and honest review.
I have this system and love it. I have no problem drying my nails in 1 minute. Make sure you have removed the blue plastic inside your lamp. It will not dry your nails properly if you don’t remove it.
Your video was done 2yrs ago. Sistaco must have listened to you because they made some changes. The lamp I received has LED lights on the top and down the side of the legs. I also thought the product was a bit pricey. On Valentine’s Day the price for the Deluxe kit and others dropped along with an added discount. I think I paid about $80 for the kit. My nails are short active nails because I work with crafts and equipment. I have had professional acrylic nails and could not stand them. I felt as if my nails were being starved of oxygen and had to have the polish removed after 2 days because they caused my nail beds to ache. I just applied the product today and will see how long it last. I will be happy if it last a week. I will also try some of the other techniques I have seen others use to make the product last longer. Thank you for your review.
I thought I was the only one whose nail bed aches with nail polish, everytime I mention it no o e k ows what I'm talking about. How has this product worked for you ?
Regular nail polish is OK just doesn’t last. After 3 days it starts to come off. It may be because the Sistaco is mineral based that I don’t feel the pain I feel with acrylic nails. It’s like having super glue on my nails. I don’t put the Sistaco on thick because when I did it took more than 3 coats of the Remover to get it off and I had it on so long my nails grew to where my cuticles started to show. All and all I love the product and it doesn’t take forever to apply. Much quicker than regular polish and I don’t worry about the dry time. Hope you get a chance to try it.
I am also having the same issue. This is my 3rd time trying. I really want to love this product too. It is way easier to apply than using my dip powders but it definitely doesn't last me but a couple of days. I have watched plenty of videos also. I really wanted to love this product .
Hello & thank you for dropping in my page. I have not tried the product since my 3 attempts last year. Maybe I’ll give it another try sometime and will check if it will continue to give me the same issues. I hear you. I also want it to work but just don’t have time of late.
I spent $300 ... got the ultimate kit & 2 value packs of colors. This product burned my nails. I since found out many people have that issue & the ones you mentioned. I'm going to try a different brand of base and top coat with the powders & see if that helps.
Miss M: I have not personally used the Sistaco System, rather I’m hooked on Sassy Saints products which are less expensive & really do stay on until you remove it. It’s a fast air-dry system, not lights. But I DID notice something in your application technique which MIGHT explain your problems with it coming off. I’ve watched so many Sistaco ads…and when demonstrating the application, they show applying the powder with the sponge end of the brush in a circular motion…almost as if it’s being massaged in. I wonder if that makes a difference? The other thing which caught my attention is with the SS powder system I use, the base coat is painted on, then the powder is applied, THEN it’s cured with a paint on chemical to cure it rather than a LED light. Is it possible that you were supposed to apply base, then colour, then cure with the light? One consistent thing I’ve seen with all the powder systems is the long wearing durability. Your review is the 1st one I’ve seen which talks about the colour coming off. I can’t help but wonder if you made an error in the application process. I’d hate to see you waste your pots of powder. I would love to see you do a review of the Sassy Saints products. A UK company but they ship worldwide.
I feel as if a lot of these positive comments are bogus because they are condescending, don’t offer suggestions, only criticize you for doing it wrong 🙄 I will tell you that I have the EXACT same problem. Followed directions to the letter. Warmed both base and top coats as I’ve seen suggested so many times and used THIN coats and still mine didn’t dry. It’s not us doing it wrong. It’s a bad product. I finally had to just put sally Hansen quick-dri on them to get them dry. And still the color only lasted 4-5 days before chipping or rubbing bare. And I only used the sally Hansen after doing them 5 times and not having them dry. Frustrating and expensive! I appreciate this review and REALLY wish I had seen it before I wasted my money.
I haven't tried the product, but I wonder if some of the lamps are defective, and then even after you manage to get them dry, they're still not properly cured, and that's why they rub off quickly.
I have only been using Sistaco for a short time and I have had no problems, I think you have to stick to the instructions on how to use it I love it and have had no trouble drying my nails
Good to hear it worked for you. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. I won’t waste my time drying my nails for 10mins each using this product anymore.
@@IamMissM I wonder if you have removed the plastic cover over the lights. if you haven't removed this maybe that's why it's taking a long time to dry.
@@IamMissM Seems to me like that's the problem. Looking over the comments, seems like if someone got a good lamp, they're saying the nails dried quick and lasted long. If they maybe got a bad lamp, it took a long time to dry, the nails weren't properly cured, and they didn't last.
Hello Julie! Thank you for taking time to visit my humble page. I tried to use regular acetone but it didn’t work. I had to purchase their own acetone which is pricey and smells awful (sorry, based on my smell).
I desperately wanted this to work. I want to order more colors, but don’t want to if it isn’t any better than what I have experienced. I was certain it was user error, so I have done it over an over, trying not to get any on my skin, because it will peel. So that is the first hurdle. So if I can manage to get it where it won’t peel, then the tips chip off and “melt” as you put it. I keep researching for some trouble shooting videos but there are only videos that show how to put it on. I am pretty sure this will be the last attempt. I did it Saturday and one entire hand peeled off so I am starting over today
Thank you very much for your honest review. Nothing worst than receiving poor customer support. I will try to find another brand to start using powder. Thank you
I wish I would have found this review before I wasted all my money on this scam product 😫. The express remover wrecked my nails and I also only used it twice and the tips were chipped immediately. Customer service is absolutely awful. They must pay all these UA-cam people to be ambassadors to talk this stuff up bc this is truly a scam product.
Hi Julianne! Thank you for your time in watching my video; appreciate it so much. But I’m sad to hear about your not so pleasant experience too. I hope you were able to fix your nails by now? Take care.
I think it's a stretch saying that it's a scam product and that everybody is paid to say it's good. It's not realistic to things that everybody making video reviews, as well as commenting here, that has had a different experience is paid off by the company. With these types of products it makes a huge difference that all the steps are done properly. I have done a lot of research and watched a lot of videos and reviews and there's far more positive experiences. No offense to you and the person who made this video, but I think it's more a case of user error when this product goes poorly.
Thank you so much for this! I didn't realise how expensive the kits were and didn't want to end up disappointed like you! That time frame and the flakey edges are what makes at home manicures so infuriating for me!! You deserve so much more love, my fellow Aussie!! This review was great and I'm so glad to hear an honest review from you before diving in for myself 🤣 thanks for being so honest and kind hearted ✨🌺🥰
Thank you so much for your kind message. I hardly jump on here after receiving not-so-nice messages during the pandemic lockdown which didn’t really help with my well-being. But seeing your encouraging message brought smile to my day. Thank you for appreciating my simple video. I truly appreciate you. God bless and take care. 💐🥰
Been using Sistaco for about a month and a half. For the most part not having any issues even thoumy kit was missing the instructions. So I just watched UA-cam. Lol. The remover is kind of a pain though. One thing I noticed watching UA-cam on the remover was they were using something that was white liquid where as the express remover that I’ve received is a pink gel. Did they revamp the remover?
I had the same experience. The company contacted me and told me to wash, buff and told me try this and that. Lasted only 3 days for me. I was very disappointed. Its funny every time I put a negative review on the FB posts it would dissappear. Only the positive stays on. Then they told me I wasn't doing it properly. Sounds like we got the same feedback. Thank you for posting this! I just bought one powder and threw the kit out.
It sounds like a faulty lamp and the gel isn’t curing. Have you tried a different lamp gel with the powders? I’m using amazon/ebay bought holographic powders with my own gel polish and lamp. Their CS isn’t great at all and they pretend their gel isn’t gel or toxic! Lots of people have no idea how to apply gels safely and are getting uncured gel all over their fingers, or are using the LED lamp multiple times which is really bad for their nails. Great marketing lol but not much to back it up! Much easier to buy holographic glitter dust and do it yourself. It isn’t a new system either, just burnishing pigment into a base or top coat. Great video btw!
It wasn’t my intention to discourage viewers to try this product. Maybe, it was just a one off that it didn’t work for me. Thank you for watching and God bless you!
@@IamMissM It is a waste of money. I believe the lamp has just got LED lights that you would use for any light, not the proper drying lights. Another reviewer found these 'lights' cost $2 to buy from a store called AliBaba. The powder is probably just eye shadow & some people have even had bad reactions to it & Sistaco KNOW this.
@@gaysy1st I have just purchased this system, I live in the UK. It is quite expensive, but in my experience these type of nail systems are expensive! I used it for the first time on Christmas Day and it worked perfectly! Dried instantly, just wiped the excess powder off with a cloth, unlike other systems which need you to use another product to remove the sticky residue. The finish was perfect! My only gripe was it took 4 weeks to get to me, but that was the air carrier issues rather than Sistaco who despatched the set promptly. This is definitely the easiest set I have ever used. I would definitely recommend it, and I am not getting paid either!
If you haven't got it yet you should get it. I done a review to if you want to see photos my results. They are stunning. Everyone compliments my nails with it on. There are lots of code you can use too.
@@panyan1960 .. you need to read & research ingredients.. some are banned in the UK. I had a terrible Allergic Reaction Reported to the Cosmetic Product Review USA. Sistaco just gives rehearsed responses.. and I was a Ambassador Selling this stuff!! ☣️
Hi there! Thank you for your time in watching my review. I really love the colours. And I agree with everything you said. I’m still hoping I can still use it. God bless! 🌹
I had the same experience as you with the longevity of this system. I’m a beauty therapist and nail tech of 30+ years so my nail prep was perfect. I followed the instructions to the letter but the nails were worn at the tip by day 2. Also I agree that the base coat probably wasn’t properly dry because the power went on patchy. Again, I set the base coat as instructed for 1 minute. I’m going to try this again setting the base and top coat for longer but I may have to give up. An expensive mistake to make. I can get OPI nail polish to stay on longer than this system!
I just purchased the deluxe set which is yet to arrive. It has really good reviews on product review but I now notice that there are loads (like well over 50) of reviews that look fake. The profiles are all created 26th-29th December and have one review only. I think Sistaco have been trying to bump up their rating.
I am a genuine purchaser from the UK and am really happy with the product. Applied as instructed using thin coats it is very durable. Mine lasted 4 weeks, with only minor chipping after 3 weeks and obviously nail growth. I removed it a week ago using the supplied remover gel, worked well. I have buffed my nails and left them natural as it’s not good to wear these types of products continuously. There are a couple of good groups on Facebook for advice.
Customer service is EVERYTHING. This isn’t the first time I heard this. That’s a shame. This should come with a sample size option if they will not listen to you. I see this on fb too. They answer with stupid answers.
Hello there Tammy! I’m so sorry hear about your experience using this. I’ve actually been quite attacked by some after I posted this review of mine. But it is what it is. Some works, some don’t and looks like we are one of the unfortunate ones. Thank you for dropping by; appreciate it! 🌹
I find it fascinating that so many people are in your comments on how wonderful it is & how it actually works. This company and their sales trolls (in your comments) are despicable people. If the product was so great they wouldnt have to act this way
Just a thought but maybe buy yourself another lamp from Walmart or CVS or Target , they cost maybe $20 and give it another go. It sounds to me like the lamp is the problem. You can always take it back if it doesn’t work
I did hear on one of the videos that if you can feel heat on your nail under the lamp you have too much base coat/top coat on. I have been using the warm water in a bowl to thin the product out before applying. I made it 10 days with good results and changed out because my nail had grown away from the cuticle & there was a gap. (Plus I wanted to try new colours) My nails definitely feel stronger with the product on & I have not lost any nails to breakage since I've been using Sistaco. Finally, I am very hard on my nails and feel that this does as well as a shellac which Is what I get if I go to a salon.
I agree, you should not have to send a video to prove to show how you’re using the product. Your customer service experience wasn’t good and would infuriate me as well. Because if you spent money on their product, they should respect the issue and work on a resolution. A video is not a resolution, it’s an insult. They should at least try a different approach, eg send Yi out a new lamp. They need to see how THEY can help you as the customer, not insult you. I won’t spend my money to buy this and exactly … not cheap. I won’t risk a failed attempt and then have that bad customer service to deal with and be annoyed at the loss of money. So Thank you for posting..
Thank you for visiting my page and watching my video. All I wanted is to share my not so great experience using this product and I got bashed by quite a few. I really thought the LED lamp was defective. It was not my intention to discourage viewers. In the event you buy it, I hope it works for you. Stay blessed! 🌹
Hi there, sorry for the delay in response. Thank you for watching my video and visiting my humble page. As for the UV lamp, I believe they have 2 kinds but customers won't be able to choose; it's in their website. Happy New Year.
Yes I watched your video and it's true what you are saying I bought there products and the bottles was empty and my nails didn't dry.I email them and they said will look into it.Products a disaster.
Oh my!! I wish I saw your review earlier 😆😆 I ordered my set a few days ago… still waiting for it and hoping it will work somehow for me😬😬 thank you for your hinest review! I could seeyou were really aware of staying factual ❤️👌🏻
Hello Tina! Thank you so much for taking time out to watch and appreciate my review. Though I didn’t have a good experience using this product, I really do hope that it will work for you. All the best! 💯💐
I can feel your dissapointing! I'm nervous now. Are you parte of their FB group? I was thinking that maybe the lamp was defecive too, but they doo't even bother to check on that!
I didn’t try this product to strengthen my nails. I use a very good product & it strengthen my nails. Pls. let me know if you wish me to share with you coz it made my nails healthy again after 3 months. As for this Sistaco product, I have never used it after it failed me in 3 attempts.
@@koaladeesresinart A blessed Sunday morning to you Ms. Deborah. I use Nail Tek nail strengthener. It really made my nails healthy again. Hope it helps you too and thank you for stopping by my simple channel. 🌹
My experience went great and I did contact tech support was great! Great tips and advice! My nails are wonderful and cured in 60 seconds! You must have put the powder and top coat on too thick!
You really got lucky..I have a Bad infection on both my fingernails and toenails..I am having the same response from this Company..I am a Ambassador and They have Blocked me from posting or comments on the Sistaco Collective Group or the Ambassador forum..They don't want Anything Negative Coming from anyone to hurt Sales! I wish I could share the extensive emails.. sounds so prepared.. like it's been happening and sent out to so many before me.. Blaming everything but The Product! Beware.. of Bad Reactions.
I've been using this product from February until now (May) of 2020 and I'm actually losing my nails. Half a nail is complete gone and all my other nails are lifting away from my finger. I'm horrified. It didn't show up until this last time of taking it off this late time.
@@TalonKathy .. It's not a Fungus like I thought.. you might be having a allergic reaction to some of the ingredients in the products. Clean Nails of all product and if you can get a Dr to prescribe KERA, NAIL GEL. 47%Urea gel. to apply to nails twice a day. At least this is what is working for me. They don't tell customers that you can have a allergic reaction..or any warnings. Neglectful Company!!
My Doctor told I'll lose all of my nails. We're trying to save them, but it doesn't look good. I would like to know if there are any law suits happening out there. I'm a District Manager for a Construction Association and attend many meetings throughout the week. My nails are an embarrassment and detriment to my position. It will be months or perhaps a year before this will be resolved as they grow back
Looking at your nails it seems like you might have had issues applying it as the colour doesn't look even. If you don't apply the product evenly right to the tip, then your result will be as you've shown. I found that less is more when applying the base coat. It has to be done evenly and that can take you some getting used to. I found the base coat remains tacky even after being under the lamp, but once I applied the powder with a light dabbing motion with a brush to evenly coat the nail in powder and then apply the top coat, I get a beautiful smooth, strong finish that does not chip or melt the way you described unless I used too much base coat on the tips or smudged it off with the applicator pad instead of using the brush. Some pigments may be more durable than others too. You need to try what works for you and mix up some of your own shades to see how they do and if they last longer than a plain shade. I've been using mine for 4 months and don't have any problems. They last 10+ days only begin to annoy me when the colour grows away from the cuticle and I feel the gap where my nails have grown. I'm also vision impaired and people can't believe I do my own nails because they look so damn good! 😂 The key is using a thin layer of each of the products. It will dry quickly if you use it correctly. If you have been used to using other products or polishes, and you treat this product the same as others, then that's probably where you went wrong. That's okay though. You'll figure out your groove by the time you have done 90 manicures you should get from 3 pots for your $125 kit. In my opinion, that's not only worth it, but it's definitely worth it when you do the maths. Best investment of the century for modern women who want to look great. I'd love to do your nails for you 🤗 😘 ❤💐 💅 Don't give up! 👍
I wish I had a seen this video before I ordered mine, I ordered over $500 worth of their products, and so far it's taking forever to even get here, I ordered a specific colour it was in when I ordered it but they took too long packing the order that they ran out. So they refunded my money, but couple days later they got more in but they won't give me the sale price, and they take forever to get back to you. Disappointed that it doesn't last long.
Okay so tell me what else would you want them to do.. I have never tried it but I will … your video makes me WANT to try it! I think that them wanting to see how you apply it would help them find out the problem ! I may have the same problem but if they ask for a video I will give it to them!
I’m glad to read a pleasant message…pleasant in a way that it is not unkind. I have had not so nice messages about this review. On the other hand, I’m sorry that the product didn’t work out for you too. Sending good vibes from Sydney! 🎄💐
Hi! Thank you for watching and good on you that you enjoyed the product. Just to clarify, this is my own experience on the product and the lamp I received did not dry my nails for 1 min as the company claimed it to be. Again, glad you’re enjoying it.
You know I'm doing my nails as I'm watching this nd I can tell you it took me 3x before I got it to work. I'm using wisteria you need to put a base coat followed my a top coat, under light then put the powder on very light. Nd then top coat then under light n looks perfect now. I was abt to ask for my money back. Never give up 🤑🤘
I am NOT connected to Sistaco in any way. I am in the UK. I have to disagree with you on so many levels. I have the Sistaco system and it is superb. My nails dry in the one minute, all the colours stay on perfectly for at least two weeks (I like to change the colour after two weeks). The choice of colours are really exciting. All the reviews I have seen, you are very much in the minority.
Good for you if you’re enjoying their product. And on this note, I am not phased if I am in the minority as you have mentioned. This is my OWN experience after using the product for 3 times.
I didn’t like it at all..
how are your nails now? do you still use sistaco? im a new purchaser of sistaco.
Customer services were great helping me whilst I was waiting for my set to be delivered! Took 4 weeks, but the problem was the air carrier.
This system is fantastic. If it's not working you are doing something wrong like applying the base and top coat to thick.

This system works perfectly as long as you use the base coat and top coat very sparingly. 60 seconds under the lamp.
In one of their promotional
Videos, they mentioned that the base coat will not be completely set after the first 60 sec light exposure. It needs to still be a little soft so that the powder really bonds well with it. Maybe your extra ‘baking’ has prevented this and that’s why it’s not lasting for you. Just a thought 💭
I bought my kit in 2020 and I never had that issue with drying. Maybe you got a faulty lamp??
Oh no!
Thank you 😊
Thank you for finding time to appreciate. Happy New Year! 💫💐
I’m pleased to hear that you had an awesome experience using this product.

@@DVelez-wz3fe no more than the one you are making.
My experience is the same service is so bad 👎🏾
Thank you, l have been hearing mixed reviews and really don't want to damage my nails. nice to hear a independent review.
Good for you had a good experience! Thank you for sharing!
I cured in 1 min as well.😊
I feel the same way.
I’m glad this product worked well for you.
@@IamMissMif you REALLY wanted to prove it wasn’t working, doing a video would have made them able to see where you’ve gone wrong….if you have eg too thick. I feel for ANYONE ATHAT listens to you and everyone else that are using it wrong or not willing to trial and error as to what suits you. You weren’t frank IMO. I have heard WAY TOO MSNY POSITIVE REVIEWS. I have purchased heaps of colours.
Dries perfectly for me every time just with one minute under the lamp.

The minute worked for me too
Maybe too thick a coat?

Hello and thank you for visiting my small page. Hope you will get to love this product. I’ve stopped using it. 😬 Pls. let me know how you go. 🌸
I hope you have managed to heal your nails. 💐
I had the same problem.
@@LynneMangold Hello Lynne, thank you for stopping by. Yes, I did remove the plastic film. Maybe it’s just defective.
@@IamMissM Seems to me like that's the problem. Looking over the comments, seems like if someone got a good lamp, they're saying the nails dried quick and lasted long. If they maybe got a bad lamp, it took a long time to dry, the nails weren't properly cured, and they didn't last.
Hello, i was wondering what product do you use to take off the powder... Nail remover or acetone? Thanks
Thank you for visiting my channel. Merry Christmas! ☺️🎄
LED lamp much better than the UV lights which can cause cancer if used too much!
Your video was very helpful! Thank you for to product review you saved me some money!
I think you’re applying the base and top coats too thickly if it is taking so long to dry.
I just purchased it and don’t have drying problems
Glad to know you enjoyed this product. Happy New Year.
I was going to buy this system, but now? Not too sure. I love honesty. Thank you so much.
I just ordered for the Black Friday sale and I can't wait to receive it! I came across your channel trying to find unbiased reviews. New subbie!
I absolutely love all the hollographic colors. 😍
I really love the colors and the looks of easy application but perhaps a stronger lamp and using a soak off topcoat.
Hi there! Thank you for your time in watching my review. I really love the colours. And I agree with everything you said. I’m still hoping I can still use it. God bless! 🌹
I appreciate your honesty in your review.. thankyou
Thank you for this honest review!
EXCELLENT & HONEST review!
Thank you for your kind comment. 💐
I have just used the product for the first time, super easy, best nails I have ever done. No trouble curing. So glad I bought this product
I just purchased the deluxe set which is yet to arrive. It has really good reviews on product review but I now notice that there are loads (like well over 50) of reviews that look fake. The profiles are all created 26th-29th December and have one review only. I think Sistaco have been trying to bump up their rating.
Hi there! Thank you for visiting my humble page and I really hope that your purchase will be worth your while. Happy New Year!
There are a couple of good groups on Facebook for advice.
how are your nails now after using sistaco?
they say that you have to wipe your brushes 4 times before applying because it has to be super thin
I did not have any problem with drying. 60 seconds just like it said and they were dry.
maybe you are applying it too thickly
Customer service is EVERYTHING. This isn’t the first time I heard this.
That’s a shame. This should come with a sample size option if they will not listen to you. I see this on fb too. They answer with stupid answers.
Don’t feel bad sweetie , that’s exactly wat happened to me x
Can you use another lamp - maybe the old uv?
I've had no issues with nails drying. 60 seconds is loads of time and now I have the techniques down the nails lasted ages too
I had a similar situation. The color just did not last. I have heard nothing from the company as far as a refund.
Hello there Tammy! I’m so sorry hear about your experience using this. I’ve actually been quite attacked by some after I posted this review of mine. But it is what it is. Some works, some don’t and looks like we are one of the unfortunate ones. Thank you for dropping by; appreciate it! 🌹
Glad I found your review. I just joined the FB group and was contemplating investing. Now, I won't bother.
I find it fascinating that so many people are in your comments on how wonderful it is & how it actually works. This company and their sales trolls (in your comments) are despicable people. If the product was so great they wouldnt have to act this way
Thank you for dropping by my humble channel. After 3yrs, I’m still getting unpleasant comments here because of my review in this product.
Just a thought but maybe buy yourself another lamp from Walmart or CVS or Target , they cost maybe $20 and give it another go. It sounds to me like the lamp is the problem. You can always take it back if it doesn’t work
I received my kit today. I applied as per instructions and my nails cured no problem in 1 minute. Not sure where you went wrong
Did you finish the video? It sounded like the uv lamp was defective not what she was doing wrong,
I did hear on one of the videos that if you can feel heat on your nail under the lamp you have too much base coat/top coat on.
Thank you for your honesty review and saving me money!
I've been looking everywhere for the marble UV lamp but I cant find it, only the pink one..
I wish I had seen your review before getting involved with this company.
I love sistaco when done correctly it’s fantastic
Thank you for visiting my page. Happy New Year!
How long does it last? It only lasted A Color of days for me. But I've only tried it once.

Its not meant to dry i would imagine it cured them and still have a sticky feel
I can feel your dissapointing! I'm nervous now. Are you parte of their FB group? I was thinking that maybe the lamp was defecive too, but they doo't even bother to check on that!
Hello Eloisa! Thank you for visiting my humble page. I really wish you will enjoy your order. And yes, I reckon my lamp was defective. All the best!

Hello Marcia! But I do hope you will have a better experience if you choose to try this product. Stay safe!
Does this Sistaco powder make your nails stonger?
I didn’t try this product to strengthen my nails. I use a very good product & it strengthen my nails. Pls. let me know if you wish me to share with you coz it made my nails healthy again after 3 months. As for this Sistaco product, I have never used it after it failed me in 3 attempts.

She says she didn't. I'm guessing lamp was defective.
Also I noticed that when you had your hand under the lamp your nail tips were not under the lights. Perhaps that is what happened.
It will be months or perhaps a year before this will be resolved as they grow back
$125 AUD is like $70 US which isn’t much - also international shipping is expensive so I can see why they can’t do free postage
I'd love to do your nails for you 🤗 😘 ❤💐 💅
Don't give up!
Thank you for this review. Your experience is exactly the same as mine. It’s a total expensive fail for me.
