Hey Valerie and family, I remember years ago we wrapped presents, put them under the tree and had to go somewhere. When we came home, our dog, Charlie, had opened ONLY his presents all but the one on the fireplace mantel. He didn't touch any but his. What a smart dog. This was in 1974, he was my baby and so sweet. Merry Christmas to all of you from our family in Michigan!
All of our dogs got Christmas present. When we get the tree they know exactly what time of year it is and get so excited. They could smell the toys under the wrap.. soo cute all these animals are! Merry Christmas

Willow crazed with wanting her toy-so cute. Lucky puppies. I have two daughters. I used to wrap each of their gifts in their own style of wrapping paper. Christmas morning started with them opening up the gifts from Santa in their stockings-this they could do at any time they awoke. The gifts under the tree from Santa had to wait for me to be up. The gifts from me to them they had to find the first treasure hunt clue card (disguised in their favorite color) in the tree., to find out which wrapping paper was theirs to open. Usually XMAS Eve Day we would all dress up in our Xmas Jammies, hats, and socks then head out to the little hometown diner for breakfast. This was, also, our Mother's Day routine but in non-matching jammies. I am not a cookie baker, but we always made a Yule Log that I admit was pretty good for being a bad baker. I'm making your Rolo cookies with my grandson this Thursday and we will be lunching out in our xmas jammies. Happy holidays to you and your family.

One year when my daughter was in the 1st grade we made presents for all her friends and classmates at school. Well we had Cockers at the time. We went to bed and got up the next morning and they got into all the gifts and ate so much chocolate candy. Yes I know it can be fatal All turned out good. My dog loves homemade treats. Sometimes I add a jar of baby food meat with the pumpkin. I also make egg white meringue cookies with no sugar and add catnip and dry in oven on low heat. I call it Kitty krack! I used to sell these at a farmers market. Make sure the meringue treats remain dry when stored. Love your videos.
