For Indians, One important lesson from Chandokya Upnishad is that Sanatan Dharma has Varna system and it is so flexible that one can attain Brahman even if he/she is result of prostitution! This is enough to debunk the theory of caste system in Hindu Dharma which has been imposed by foreign rulers like Portugese, Dutch, British etc. Thanks video maker! Efforts are appreciated but scope for improvement is there
You narrate so well, but mispronouncing vitals aspects diffuses the significance of the essence. His name is Satya- Kama( t pronounced as you would use the sound of t as t . Vayu means air V pronounced as v in victory.
@@roymavrikiy8172 yes😭b' cos the script writer & narrator want to convey that SatyaKama's mother was a woman of a lowly moral standard, having had to "serve" in many different places. Due to this she couldn't tell Satyakama who his father was😭😭😭😭 b'Cos she didn't know it😭😭😭😭
Being a prostitute isn't the most shameful now the woman cannot find herself to be suitable in the material world seeks spirituality; These were the learnings of Shree Dattatreya who considered her as one of his 24 gurus.(or nowadays ignorance)

SatyaKama was very young to ask his mother about his "lineage" which led the narrator to call his mother a "social server" who could not tell SatyaKama who his father was ?

Gah, your pronunciation of Sanskrit is pretty pathetic, I hate to say. I hate to fuss this way but it really is disconcerting. Chandogya is pronounced Chaan-do-gya with the 'do' pronounced as in 'though.' Satyakama is pronounced Suth (rhymes with such)-ya-kaama. Satya means the Truth. Vayu is pronounced Vaa-yu and not Vay-yu! It refers to the energy of the wind, worshiped as a deity. And oh, the fourth source of information for Satyakama you stated to be a diver bird, but "Loon" is the more commonly used word for the bird, is what I have read. Anyhow, pronunciation aside, your effort to present this Upanishad is most appreciated. 🙏It is only a part of the entire Upanishad, though. There were other students who were taught as well: Upakosala, Svetaketu, and Sanatkumara. The Upanishad teaches the truth of the Atman (pronounced Aath-mun) which westerners call the "Self." I guess they refer to the "Big Self" hidden within our "little self." :)

I have heard abt the Upanishad n sanskrit but know nothing much about it. Nice story though a bit repetitive. I am at present interested in the Bhagavad- gita. (My spelling is atrocious). And the role and divine relevation of the Avatar, Lord Krishna. Hope to learn about the birth of ancient faith and Hindu religions in India! ❤. Thks for sharing something on the Upanishad! 😅
While not perfect like these other comments suggest. .. i now know a story i did not learn of, growing up in India. So thank you for sharing.
Beautiful My brother ❤

It's untrue that SatyaKama's mother was a "social server" which is a very derogatory statement

Yes there is a episode in ganga Upanishads with clearly

It was varn not caste he told

Sathya is truth and kama is once who seeks. It’s not saaatiyaaa kama. It doesn’t mean anything
i think the name of the boy is SwthaKetu not Satyakama, kindly correct me if im wrong.

Terrible narration and computer generated voice and poor pronounciation. , a real persons voice could have added so much more value.
Right.
In Hinduism or Sanatan Dharma there is nothing like caste please refrain from associating caste with Hinduism.
This channel must be banned. Sathyakama not satiyaaakama .. 🤦🏼♀️this is disgusting
