*why is this lazy? why is this lazier than the auto-ring version?
-bcoz, unlike sacrilegious ring, the damage here is already being done just by getting close to the enemies, automatically before a corpse is even made and activated.
the damage is done THROUGH your minions' aura, which is very necromancer-like!
basically the damage is already being done for you. all you have to do now, like your job in the battle, is to scale that damage, which is by applying curses or casting grasping pixel pulling monsters, basically supporting your minions.
your minions are there to help you. and you are there for your minions as well. that's true leadership aint it?
*Why is this a minion/summoner ?
because it just doesnt work if you dont have the minions. imagine Uber company without the drivers.
the segments of bone prison are also considered minions and carry the aura as well!

i didnt understand it much at first, i didnt even know how to summon them. He explained that it is a new mechanic from a runeword.
When i was in bed, the thought played out in my mind, discorded him ASAP and i swore a lot. peace out tho.. but LO and behold! hurriedly went downstairs, went into the training room and BOOM yes! yes!
These big bad wolves carry the shademist aura imbuement and , not only that, apparently, im also seeing some chilling happening. the monsters are freezing. and theres not a single cold thing in my gear. so it surely is from the wolves

i really like this kind of playstyle.. its got everything i want in a necromancer..
minions (may it be skeletons and/or golem) - very important to me because i have a somewhat lazy ass - i love having a beer while playing and i have a son too. during helltide/blood maiden farming, i need to afk from time to time, while my minions diligently still doing their hacking and slashing.
this also has
shadow damage / DOT
barrier
and also explodes corpses
utilizes blood orbs
except for just one thing. the very last thing i want for a necro is to use a shield. i really wanna use a shield personally. im thinking how i can have same amount of DPS, by replacing focus with a shield. i feel like a shield is very fitting with a paladin/ necrodin.
focus sounds generic to me. usable by another class. or 2H axe (which gives implicit DOT thats needed in this) doesnt seem very necromancer-like to me. axe sounds like a barbarian weapon TBH...
(gear shown on the last part) mostly 2GA items except for the mythic which is very ez to get this time because of the free PTR caches. but this uber unique is out of my league in season.
on live, i cannot in my wildest dreams afford to have this kind of gear. right now, we have the dancing demon the vendor of cheats.
but i can never imagine having this like for example a perfect 4GA heir of perdition helm ever for the life of me.

Could try shroud of false death- to insert XOL rune (stealth is power from another class) then have the xol rune proc wolves

I tried to use the wolves to gain petrify
@@Aldrick1944 yeah for some reason that stealth is classified as evoking another class power, least for the barb it is, cause it's making some pretty crazy interactions
@@Aldrick1944 also small wording on the druid wolf rune, many of the runes say "evoke x power from another class" for the wolf spirit one it says "summon" which is prob why it doesn't work
