There's absolutely nothing better in football than watching a properly-run triple option play out of the Flex or Wishbone. Watching the entire front 7 of a defense bite on the dive and then the QB pitching the ball at the last second followed by a long gain by a RB is a thing of beauty. That's why Army-Navy is one of my favorite games of the year to watch.
We ran Wishbone in High School. We went 12-2 my senior (2017). Went 12-2 in 2016, 12-2 in 2017, 14-1 in 2018 and 14-1 in 2019 with the wishbone and mainly one back spread
Iove this offense..but they need to show more passing plays to wide receiver...can u imagine as a kid playing wide out in this offense?? Just blocking every play???...u might as well put a linemen out their with the number 80 or something...lol
Ran this when I was in high school back in 2001. Senior year We were 12-1 lost in a close game 28-21 in the champ game against a team that ran the same offense. Our oline averaged 190 lbs our conference average was 260. I played right tackle got first team all conference at 195 I was a safety/linebacker previously. Our fullback had 1200 yards and our wings had 1000 each our QB had 800. QB also threw 21 tds with one pick off the play action.

I love this offense smash mouth football
A true example of Team Football
I'm a fan of Bear Bryant Barry & Paul Johnson by far the hardest offense to stop any chance of a playbook?

They're called wide guards :-)
Our QB threw 21 tds 1 pick in this offense.
We did! especially if we do flex over.
What do you think happens when they leave those receivers alone with just the corners who are 12 yards off. Easy passing yards.
What made you go to undercenter Flexbone instead of Pistol?
Dive back probably hits faster on the Veer
@@gradybreen2734 No doubt. That's what I love about the true flexbone. The pistol and shotgun dive hits slower.

Quicker hitting with the dive. Makes the end a little more confused as well.
What school/team is this running Flexbone and Wishbone?
Terrance White Chancellor High School (VA)
