I just went to a BMW demo day yesterday and was able to ride this particular model. I’ve never ridden a BWW before and was quite happy. That shift assist took some getting use to for me but I could totally see myself buying one of these. I really enjoyed your insights on this motorcycle.
Thanks, good honest review..I have 2016 Iconic RS and agree it’s the best bike I’ve owned. I find the quick shifter works well going down through the gears, provided the throttle is fully closed. The Givi box you have suits the bike, and more practical than the standard panniers for day to day use. All the best.
Hi, good review. Could you let me know if your front forks are manually adjustable for Preload, Rebound and Compression ? I ask you this since the version of the R1200RS you own does not have the Dynamic package.
Have you considered trying a different screen, other owners mention that a different screen transforms the bike. I’m looking to get one this spring, but I do worry about bmw prices for spares and servicing. Thanks for the video.
To and Fro a few very minor scrapes and i do mean minor. They actually protected the bike and you can get protectors for them if you want but just as cheap to replace the cyclinder heads i believe
Micheál Brennan hey so the seat height is 31 inches so depends on your inside leg and boots you are wearing. Im 5ft9 and its very comfortable. You can get a low riders seat which drops it to 29.9inches but its an optional extra

is the suspension front and rear adjustable for compression and rebound, most reviews are for the ESA equipped bikes?

What sort of fuel consumption do you achieve on it?
Good concise honest review. Post another review now you have more miles on the clock. Cheers
Is there room for a tool kit and puncture repair kit?
Any suggestions too look out for on a pre owned one before purchasing ?

Dorijan Santini no these were standard on mine
When you dropped the bike did you get any cylinder damage? That's always a huge topic on the forums.

CulchieCommuting good to know, thanks
hi
you have led on licens number?
Hi what height is the seat? I'm only 5'6" and find a lot of adventure bikes way to tall.

Did the standard seat end up being good for you?
"ShatNav" ...lovely dialect :)
