Love your fancy lady! I mostly do stamped cross stitch Like you I thought it be easier to try for a newbie I did but a counted cross stitch but I’m no where as brave as you! I’ve just got a bookmark As I like to read thought I’d go for the practical! If my brother was still alive I would get the big one with the animals He was an artist too & loved wid life I look forward to your next flosstube to see your progress! That’s going to be so stunning. I don’t know if it’s correct or not, but I did hear the opposite about Joy Sunday, so you might want to take care there. I don’t know for sure. Yeah I did a little research, and i believe i was misinformed. Stamped cross stitch kits got me started with stitching but every time I watch a flosstube my list gets longer for patterns I want lol. I do enjoy stamped for evening stitching, but I'm accumulating more and more counted stitches and patterns. It's becoming an addiction lol. Thanks for watching 🩷

I totally understand how the stamped kits are so appealing and the fault really lies with those huge companies not paying the artists’ appropriate licensing fees. Customers buy from them in good faith not knowing that. I’m sure with a little research you can still find stamped kits from reputable places because I agree they’re great entry points to the craft and they’re great for stitching later at night when you’re tired. Don’t give up I say.
I had the same problem moving from 20 count easy grid to 25 count. The stitches seem to "slip" into the next square so my stitching looked awful. I stitch in hand and found that I can mitigate that problem by using a hoop. I must say though, that for full coverage, my sweet spot is either 18 count or 20 count. I love your projects and your enthusiasm!!

I want to stitch ALL the things haha. I haven't figured out exactly what my sweet spot is but I'm having a great time getting there 😁
