It warms my heart whenever I see Nook's caring side. People call him greedy and evil and I think that's unfair as does show to have a good side to him (letting you pay your loan without a time limit, taking in Timmy and Tommy, donating to charity to orphans, etc).

I will die on the Tom Nook is a good person hill. He is kind and generous, he adopted two orphans and is raising them as a single father. He gives you (a human and stranger) a house and lets you live there interest free and lets you pay your loan back even 1 bell at a time if you want and doesn't care how long it takes. He wont come and break your knees if you don't pay your loan off ever. And all he asks in return is a few chores. He is a god damn saint.
Would enjoy this more if the animation didn't have all the stock sound effects just some music and maybe some simple sounds but not every action needs baby's first cartoon sound effects.

i love Tom Nook. if anyone sees him as a greedy businessman, i sees him as a loving racoon who cares a lot for everyone, especially the nook twins.
