I disagree with Breadman. Benavidez doesn’t rely on physical gifts. He has underrated fundamentals and crafty skills. He will be effected in his 30s. He won’t have to deal with speedy guys in higher weight classes.
Davis benavidez’ defense is WORLD CLASS❗️💯🔥🔥 and even Him fighting the way he’s fighting he will last another 10-15 years, no doubt❗️ he doesn’t get hit and that’s why he’s gonna last long in boxing! Bivol did not get hit with many of beterbiev punches clean many of those shot were caught by his gloves . But those blocks shots still deflect into the face . But it’s not the same punishment from getting hit clean ..Benavides situation was the same he did not get hit flush with many shots other than the right hand in the fourth and maybe that punch after the bell. Everything else was blocked .very few shots got in clean but morall took many big shots from Benavides so morell took damage in that and probably in his whole career put together.

@ You may like to call it that way, but its more a case of being under extreme duress. Benavidez is not a big puncher, but hits hard enough to keep fighters honest. In the Gvozdyk fight same thing happened.
These bigger guys are not trading with him instead they go into a shell or back off because Benavidez's offense is too fluid, diverse and damaging enough that only if you can seriously hurt him is the only chance you have to stop him.
