noooooo. it is the worst, constant traffic, both on the roads and underground, during peak times there is 0 movement or no space in the metro for a human to pass. Too dense

    Oh, look. Another new face.
I think Easy Russian should have an independent channel on its own! It's the only videos I watched here in Easy Languages.
Russian themselves know they have terrible traffic jams and terrible drivers that they don't want to drive a car nor take a motorcycle.
And Russian walking for more than an hour? Well, I am surprised.

    I liked them both!
Why did they get fired? Did they get drafted into the army?
    What happened?

They're probably still working. But Anya is from Saint Petersburg, and this new girl is from Moscow. It's the same series, but in different cities.

    • @easylanguages

      Hello Mario!
Please don't worry, Ania and Vita will still produce new episodes from Saint Petersburg :)
In the last few months we've been in contact with new people from different regions in Russia who would be able to contribute with more videos to the channel and it's a great opportunity to bring more diversity to our project and show the different parts of the country where Russian is spoken. It's also a great opportunity to pursue our ultimate goal of providing at least one video of Easy Russian per week for our viewers.
Therefore, there might be even more videos with hosts other than Ania, Vita or Ekaterina, but they will still keep producing at their pace and their new videos will keep regularly appearing on our channel. Next week we will publish another episode produced by Vita's team ;)

@@easylanguages -That's so cool! Thank you guys and the Russian girls for their great efforts on our behalf.
As an aside, I'd like to add something. I knew of Russians by Hollywood depictions only and these Easy Russian (Polish, German Korean etc) have served to show me we're the same all over the world.
Good people mostly everywhere. Love of country, culture, family etc.
I'll never believe again that people from any one region are better or worse than anyone else.
We're all one big family and we're better off appreciating our small differences than to allow them to separate us.
I know this is weird place to leave this message but I've been contemplating that thought and feelings for 's while now.
And as I said before, media platforms like UA-cam and contents like this have help with that "epiphany"
Mad love to my Russian brothers and sisters and a big thanks to all of you involved in this wonderful project.

american are slaves to our cars. Our cities are spread out so far, you need a car to get to work and home. I live in a relatively small town in wyoming. therefore, i get around the city with my bicycle.. And in the winter when it is cold and snow, i will walk everywhere!! russian cities are more designed for pedestrians.. As are many other european cities! very education video!
