The goal should be for this to be a normal thing, but if you want to make it a talking point and shove it in people's faces, then they are going to react negatively to it. Change doesn't happen overnight, stop forcing it and let society amend its wrongs. Making Race something that is NOT an important thing of our culture is how we fix racism.
