How to setup OBS Studio for live-streaming.(Logic Pro+Blackhole)

Everything works great but when I do this the Logic Pro metronome goes through obs, is there a workaround for this?

Hi, i made the settings and everything worked perfectly, the only thing that didn't work were the effects that I hear on the headphones, but they don't come out in the broadcast, any idea what that could be?

Hey Thanks for the video very helpful. But! This May be a complicated explanation of what I wanna do but I will try.
I wanna make beats and record vocals on livestream. Can I use a usb microphone for the livestream audio, and then use another microphone through the audio interface to record vocals on logic? I don’t wanna have the audio from my mic(audio interface) going on the stream. But just the usb mic. I don’t know if u will understand what I’m trying to say, but thanks again

Hey. This is probably possible but it's going to take a lot of trial and error for you .The best thing is to get as familiar with OBS, DAW and settings within. See what each one is changing as you add the extra mic. wish you the best of luck. let me know how you get on! thanks.

I'm using a Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen from Focusrite
Will that work with these settings ?
I would love to know how to play Midi instruments and VSTs though OBS too and just the overall sound of everything I'm doing in Logic
I've tried this a few times and cannot seem to get it to work
any advice would be appreciate I really enjoyed the vid and subscribed to you thanks mate

I can't see any reason for it to not work but it will be something within your setting. There are so many variables depending on individual settings. I think the best thing to do would be to use my video as a blueprint and I would think it would be settings within your DAW. Check all your connection settings in Logic and try to get familiar with what each change is doing overall. I spent a lot of hours trying to sort and I still haven't got it right either so I hope this can help in some way. Let me know how you get on and thanks for subscribing it really helps my channel.

Hey! Well I have my desktop audio and my audio interface on and turned up. But my standard mac mic is turned down as I use a mic through my audio interface. I hope this helps. Good luck on your new setup! 👍
